Mellow;
One could almost say Bailey got this trait from her mother. Since her fathers death she hit a deep depression, however Bailey was too…well, Bailey for the situation to affect her in that way. So, she retracted a certain placid attitude. She never gets too overworked and if she did it definitely wouldn’t show. It’s almost as if everything works slower with Bails. Almost as if her mind works too slow to comprehend such situations. Though, upon occasion, when terrible things happen, or she is too overwhelmed, the response is never good. She either shuts down, or overreacts.
Niave;
Sure Bailey has seen a lot. Why, the addictions of her parents, that soon led to her fathers death. She’s lived with her mother, of course. The birth of her brother. And heck, she’s an addict herself. But still…she remains ignorant to the world around her. Or rather, the goings-on. And it creates in her a sort of innocent persona.
Trusting/Terrible Judge;
With Bails’ naivity comes unyielding trust. And it seems to spread to everyone and anyone around her. Heck she could meet a beggar on the street and immediately make friends. Not even mildly aware of the fact that he’s desperate and she’s the easiest type of person to steal from. Upon occasion this has been known to get her into trouble. But again, everything about her is unchanging. So he continues to trust, giving people way too much credit from the get go by judging folks so off base.
Quirky;
Really, the bottom line to this is: she’s weird. Bialy’s been known to say weird things, or appear as though she’s talking to people who aren’t there. And sometimes…she could be doing just that. Heck, what with all the drugs she does who knows? But she also does strange things. Like picking apart napkins in a restaurant or kicking a stone along a path. Zoning out in the cafeteria. She’s been dubbed strange.
Honest;
Being the mellow, strange, and low-key kind of girl she is Bailey has no need to lie. No need to be dishonest in any way. And since she trusts people so much she figures no one lies to her either. As you can see she has a bit of a warped view of society.

Birth
Bailey Erin Owens was born May Eleventh Nineteen Ninety one to a young miss Riley Wright. At the time Riley had been sixteen and far too in love with Noah Owens to let a baby stand in their way. At first she was adamant about an abortion. Hell, she wasn’t suited for motherhood anyway. She spent most of her time drinking and smoking and shooting junk with Noah. Truth be told, they both weren’t prepared to parenthood. But Noah, being the sweetheart despite addiction, convinced her to keep it. He promised to help her stay off the drugs and alcohol, and even to stay off them himself.
So Riley struggled through the pregnancy completely clean, which is more than she could say for Noah. His condition lightened up but he wasn’t anywhere near clean. They both dropped out of high school and attempted at starting their family. Noah got a job at a mechanics and Riley found a job waiting on tables at a local restaurant. They switched shifts, so someone was always home with Bailey. But as time grew on and the bills and necessities to continue worsened so did Noah’s condition. He was already so heavily into the stuff that it was no surprise when he died from an over-dose at twenty-two.
This threw Riley into a deep depression and they moved back in to live with Bailey’s grandparents.
Childhood
Bailey’s childhood was riddled with bad experiences. Her grandparents were less than welcoming to their daughter. But her grandmother welcomed Bailey with open-arms. She practically raised her herself with Riley got back on her own two feet again. Life trudged on for the four of them and when Bailey was just twelve years old she had her first taste of drugs. Her mother had been smoking behind the house when grandma and grandpa had gone out grocery shopping and, like the wonderful mother she was, she offered Bailey some. Crazy, right?
Well, Bailey was a natural with the stuff, barely coughing her first time. Probably got the habit from mommy. And in no time she was getting all kinds of drugs from all imaginable places.
Now
Don’t think Bailey’s drug addiction went unnoticed. Around the tenth grade she was caught shooting heroine in the girls bathroom and her mother and grandparents were called in. Poor grandma was appalled, grandpa saw it coming, and Riley couldn’t speak a word. Heck, she was probably wasted herself. The principal suggested alternate schooling for those ‘troubled’ children, and guess where that was? Forevermore.
Her mother said yes immediately, to Grandmas dismay the choice wasn’t up to her, and had Bailey sent to Forevermore Academy. Here Bail’s has worked off two years and hasn’t been clean a day since.
