Shani stalked down the hallway from the equipment room. Her black leather boot heels striking the tile and her red silk shirt billowing as she walked. Her entire stance screamed predatory and the look in her eyes was that of hunger. Shani’s face was twisted into a frown in one of her rare moments of loss of self control. She was too hungry to bother putting on the indifferent mask she usually wore.
Shani made a sharp left at the next turn, her movements becoming less human by the minute. She was moving with uncanny grace, her quick actions appearing jerky to the human eye. She kept walking till she found the cafeteria. Shani had heard that the blood packets they served here were disgusting but she didn’t think that she could actually feed without putting a human in a coma or worse. It had been about two days since her last feeding and she was in even a blacker mood then she usually was. Pushing open the door to the cafeteria Shani walked straight to the counter not even bothering to look around. There was a middle aged human woman working at the counter. Shani managed to rip her eyes from the woman’s jugular just before she reached the counter.
“Two blood packets, please.” She spat out, limiting the amount of air she breathed in. Shani kind of liked the school already even though she had been forced to watch all of the Saw movies that afternoon. She had just finished watching them and was so hungry it was almost painful. The woman looked up and gave Shani a disapproving frown.
“I’m sorry but we only serve one packet a meal, miss.” She deigned to inform her. It was a good thing that Shani at least retained a modicum of control over her facial features. If her face had betrayed her anger at that moment she was half sure that the woman would have had a heart attack. She leaned forward and placed her hands on the counter, at the same time allowing her fangs to drop. Her eyes narrowed and she giggled internally at the woman’s slight cringing.
“I just had to watch eight hours of blood and gore, and I have not had a drink in almost two days. It would be in everyone’s best interest if I were better fed then I currently am. Two packets please.” She practically growled at the woman. She was getting tired of this, if the woman didn’t hand over the packets she would just get them herself. Shani really didn’t want to start out her time at this school with killing the lunch lady and her hunger was so bad it was coming close to that. The woman hastily handed Shani the packets and retreated to the kitchen. Most probably a wise decision on her part.
Shani snatched the two packets and stalked to the nearest table. She didn’t really notice or care that there was already someone sitting there. She pulled a chair out and flung herself, in a surprisingly graceful fashion, into the seat. One hand lifted a packet up to her face and her nose wrinkled as she smelled the mediocre stored blood.
“Ugh, it really is as disgusting as I’ve heard.” She muttered to herself.

People watching(Verb): 1.The act of observing people, most likely humans in their daily routines 2. To stalk a group of people most likely humans 3. One of Katia's favorite pastimes.
Katia was known for not liking places where there were lots of people but in reality she just didn't liked being seen in places were there was a lot of people. She found people fascinating fairies, werewolves, humans etc... As long as they were alive she took an interest in them, a lot of the time she just observed them as a scientist observes laboratory rats, for her this was a way to prove or disprove her theories of society, the universe, death, life, fear just your basic philosophy topics. Not to mention that it gave her better mental pictures of torture and despair.
Tying her Ed hardy boots Katia stood up and brushed off her dress ready to go downstairs. If she had to pick two words to describe her outfit it would've definitely been Gothic Lolita. Her dress consisted in a dark purple satin skirt with a white ruffled layer underneath so that it seemed puffy, that was connected to a black corset that had a dark purple short sleeves that were slightly puffy, but not to much. Her platinum blond hair and silver eyes were definitely sticking out because of her dark clothes.
Once she reached the cafeteria the noise fluttered around her ears, she had been trying to block all the laughs and chats before making her way to a table it had been easier in the hallways because it was just a few people around, but now it was unavoidable. Location wasn't important so katia decided to let her feet be the judge of her table.
Her silver eyes scanned the place, probing ever single inch twice trying to register all the faces in the room. Katia turned her back to the cafeteria line and once she had crossed one leg over the other she began her people watching. Twenty minutes have passed and so far she knew that Jason broke up with Rebecca because he wanted to go out with her sister Priscilla and that Chloe had a crush on Evan. katia shook her head as more unknown names started swimming around the place. The sound of a chair being flung disturbed katia's actions so much she had to look for the source of the noise and found a vampire girl holding two blood packages. Katia never tried one of those and was trying to keep it that way, she had been around other vampires and had seen the palish tint that blood had and the smell ugh
“Ugh, it really is as disgusting as I’ve heard.” The girl said Katia just glanced at her and began to speak "you'll think they used the blood from the people in the games for the blood packages, It would probably taste better and it would not be a waste of blood" She said thinking how much blood had the school spilled in account of the infamous execution squad.

Shani’s eyes flickered over to the other girl at the table. She hadn’t noticed her before hand but now Shani glanced at her with curiosity. In looks they were different in almost every way. The other one had white blond hair to Shani’s brown black, silver eyes to her yellow green. However, one aspect was the same in both of them, inhumanly white skin. Shani was glad that if she had to sit with someone while she was hungry at least it was someone who wouldn’t entice her current blood lust. The girl said something about using the people who died in the games blood and Shani shrugged.
“It probably would taste better.” Shani took a sip of the blood and grimaced as the obnoxious tasting liquid slid down her throat. “I don’t know much about the games though. Just the basics and the fact that because of them I had to watch an eight hour gore fest which, I might add, did not help with my hunger.” Shani frowned and took a larger sip of the blood because as nasty as it was, it at least dispelled the bloody images in her mind that stirred the predator. She had been hungry anyway when she started the movies but after them she had felt starving. Her eyes ran over the girl again and smiled at her choice of clothes. The purple dress looked beautiful over the girls pale white skin. Shani herself was very fond of reds. She was in fact wearing her favorite shirt, a deep blood red silk skirt paired with black skinny jeans and black leather boots. She loved the way most colors seemed to contrast wonderfully with her new skin and showed off that contrast often. Her frown lessened considerably and her lips turned up in what was almost a smile. This girl seemed pretty cool just by the looks of her clothes.
“I’m Shani by the way, just transferred in because an unfortunate little incident at my old school.” She told the girl, her face now twisted into a smirk as she thought of how upset the principal had seemed to get over it. It wasn’t like the kid had died, she thought expulsion had been a bit of an overreaction.

Now that the girl had responded Katia had decided her people watching was over. Slowly she turned her back around so she was facing the girl, her side glance was no more and her silver eyes focused on her fully. As always Katia had to proba the girl with her eyes, it was quite interesting the girl had brown hair and yellow green eyes and was quite attractive, and she had quitea tasteful attire. Katia smirked as the girl agreed that it would taste better, then again Katia believed it would taste better for her since she would be aware that she was swallowing blood that was shed with pain, suffering, regret, misery, fear oh what a delicious taste that would be.
"Yeah I had watched all the movies more than 20 times before I was practically reciting all the dialougues word for word" She said with an unusual pride, she had remembered the teacher's face it had concern and it stared at Katia with confusion as if she was some weird devil child."There's really not that much to know other than people have died there, you fuck up and you can bet you'll be thrown in one of the games aswell" She said. "quite an interesting piece of work really, they know your fears and your weaknesses so I imagine all the games are extremly well thought out" She informed the girl "the sad part is unless your part of the execution squad you don't know who's in the squad" She said with a small sigh.
All of Katia's words were said with her strong Finnish accent, her voice always soft and clear and did not reveal much emotion when not talking about deaths and the squad.Katia's eyes focused on the ghsatly looking blood and wrinkled her nose "yeah I go more for animal's blood although I might have some real blood stored in my room if you want any you can just come by" Katia offered.
"Pleasure meeting you,I'm Katia" She said "been in this school for three glorious years" She said adding all sarcasm in the word glorious. The only good that she could see from the school was coming out as a execution squad but other than that she couldn't wait to leave and go back to her life of raves, torture and pranks.

Shani smiled when the girl said she had watched the movies 20 times. She had enjoyed them to an extent but it had been difficult to concentrate at the time. Her slight smile went back into a frown as she thought of how she had been kind of cheated out of the true Saw experience.
“I would have watched them more.” Shani explained with a sigh. “Sadly it is a little hard to watch a gore fest when in the throes of blood lust.” Shani told her mournfully. It had been her first time seeing the Saw movies and she hadn’t even had a chance to fully appreciate them. Her frown became a little worried as the other girl talked. She pouted a bit as she thought of how she might have to change her behavior.
“Would throwing someone into a wall for being an idiot count as fucking up?” She inquired, cocking her head to the side a bit. She had proposed the question hypothetically but anyone could see the wicked gleam in her eyes and know that she had done just that. She had been in a particularly bad mood and the guy was acting idiotic. It had been only too easy to pick him up and throw him across the room into a wall. He hadn’t died but it had been ever so funny to see his bones sticking up at all the wrong angles. Okay, so Shani was a bit of a sadist, oh well.
Shani brightened considerably when she offered a more pleasant alternative to the horrendous blood she was drinking now. One more sip of it and Shani was sure that she would have thrown up, that or attacked the annoying woman who had given her the blood. Maybe both.
“You drink animal blood?” Shani asked perplexed. “I’ve only done that once myself, I find I rather enjoy chasing the more intelligent of prey.” She explained to her. Animal blood didn’t taste bad, that wasn’t it at all. Rather, Shani preferred to smell the fear on her prey’s skin as she chased them. Although animals feared too, it wasn’t because they knew what was coming just that they were being chased. That wasn’t near as exiting as your prey knowing that something swift, deadly, and glorious was coming after them. She didn’t often kill her prey, possibly due to the fact that she had already gotten her thrills once she caught them.
“Anything would be better then this.” She held up the bag full of nastily colored blood. “I have never tasted worse and that’s saying something, as I hunted in some of the nastier corners of New York.” Shani told her, she vividly remembered that some tasted sickly sweet as a result of opium or some such drug, others impossibly bitter because of coke or meth. It neither affected her nor stopped her from feeding but it did, however, leave an aftertaste that she wasn’t fond of.
“Oh, I’m sure.” She smirked heavily as Katia made a sarcastic remark about how her years at the school were glorious. “Who wouldn’t have fun in a boarding school where someone, somewhere knows all your fears?” She said lightly, oh yes Shani was fully aware that she might me chosen for the games at anytime. However, she was not one to stand still and worry about something that might never happen. Shani stood up and looked pleadingly at Katia.
“Mind if I take you up on your offer of better blood?”

Katia nodded "oh yeah is a bad movie to watch when one is craving blood" Katia said fully aware of that feeling "But you'll get to see them again probably "She said although she would be more than happy into recreating it for her if she could only get a few victims volunteers.
“Would throwing someone into a wall for being an idiot count as fucking up?” A muffled chuckle escape her lips "I don't think so, since I'm still here" although she could easily mask the wall incidents with false claims of tripping. Although she was more found of excruciating torture than just a mere push into a wall.
At the questioning of her blood preference Katia shook her head "normally I drink from humans but I haven't been able to do that so i resort to the next best thing, I rather drink the blood of a rat than resource to that" She said her silver eyes directing themselves to the packet "You won't have a lot of intelligent prey around here, but they are quite amusing though" Katia said thanks to her people watching she was able to make that statement. Human blood now there lay one truly wonderful libation of sorts, Katia loved Human blood specially when she had induced the torture herself.
Who wouldn’t have fun in a boarding school where someone, somewhere knows all your fears?” Katia nodded a smirk on her lips "exactly, and then there's the fact that it took until now my junior year to find people that i coulmaintainin intelligenconversationssn with" She said "Shall we go then?" Katia asked standing up herself she could already smell the berries mixed with blood and cherries that rathoughtht her whole room.

Shani smiled as Katia chuckled and responded to her question. She was glad this girl wasn’t someone who particularly cared if someone got hurt. It would have been so disappointing if her new acquaintance had cared that she threw someone into a wall. Belive it or not, Shani did have friends who wern't sadists but she didn't often.
“Hmm, is that so? My old school’s administration seemed to have quite the problem with it. The boy only ended up in critical condition, it’s not like he died.” She replied dryly. Shani had prefer New York to this place but it sounded as if she would be able to get her kicks here at least. She wasn’t happy about it but she could deal with it. Shani pouted when Katia said that she hadn’t been able to hunt humans here.
“I suppose I’ll go for animal blood then.” She said, sighing. “I’m going to miss the smell of their fear when I hunt though.” She grumbled, her voice sounding as if she had lost something precious. Shani really would miss that sweet smell, practically ambrosia but she would make do. It was truly fun to hunt but she couldn’t imagine it being the same if she were hunting animals. Shani sympathized greatly with Katia when she mentioned something about not having intelligent conversation. It was like torture, talking to someone with little more intelligence then an insect, which is what it often felt like talking to anyone in high school. She grimaced apologetically before Katia got up. She held her arm out slightly before dropping it.
“Lead the way.” She told Katia, quickly falling into step with her. “So… the humans here are amusing are they?” She inquired, a smirk on her lips.

Katia shook her head making a tsk tsk sound that sounded quite odd with her tonger ring hitting her fangs."People are so dramatic" She said "If the kid had died then there you have a reason to expelled someone" She said thinking that if she had gone to a different school she would've gotten arrested a lot of times for beating and torturing kids.
“I’m going to miss the smell of their fear when I hunt though.” Katia nodded giving a low "mhm" she also missed the taste of fear and pain combined together, although it was obvious that she wasn't the nicest person around she still would not admit to her sadistic hobbies, not yet at least she still had to be careful Katia loved the games but did not wished to be part of one anytime soon.
Katia stood up her platinum blond hair dropping to her lower back like a pale yellow waterfall."This way then" she said with a small smirk, now that she had spoke to more people one would guess she would start smiling once in a while...yeah not really. Katia would not smile, her smile had already become a rarity and she used them on things that brought her great joy and pleasure like the screams of agony from someone or the tears of fear.
“So… the humans here are amusing are they?” Shani asked, as they started to walk around the hallway Katia turned her head slightly "I always found humans to be amusing" she said as they went up some stairs and then down another hallway "Haven't talked to any myself. But What i gotten from my people watching is that there's the type that only talk about how horrible other people are dressed and who's dating who and then there's the other type who are sort of crazy and still shake when they when the execution squad is mentioned...there's some small varieties on the categories but yeah" Katia said as they did some more turns.
Finally they had reached the dorms, the doors that they started to pass had pictures and calendars and names spelled out in license plates. Katia did not even bother to look at them anymore, they did not catch her attention. Katia stopped and faced a door that had a posted of a girl, her black wet hair was covering her pale face yet her icy blue eyes could be seen through the strands of hair eyes filled with rage and evil, her nightgown was tattered dirty and thorned in her back there were two bloody lines with bloody feathers touching the muddy bathroom floor, barbed wire was binding her around piercings her arms and in the bathroom mirror bloody letters spelled "fallen angels go to hell".
"We're here" Katia said smirking with pride as she stared at the poster that decorated her room. A pale hand reached for her inner thigh and pulled out a black key and opened the door to find pure blackness. The black round bed seemed to have disappeared and anything cold bee seen with the exception of a pair of green eyes in a remote corner "Settled down Luciferia" Katia said as the smells in her room began to wrap themselves around her nose, first it was the smell of wild blueberries, strawberries and raspberries...then came the sweet smell of cherries and to top it all the best smell of blood was this weak smell of human blood with lots of animal blood. Katia walked toward one of the lava lamps and turned it one, the dark purple light gave barely any light but it was enough to revealed her poster covered wall, full of gory and dark posters like the one in her door and of rock bands, and the small novelties that she had on her desk like two porcelain guillotines and the the clay sculpture of a man getting hung in a London street. Gothic music started playing softly it was metal and rock meeting Victorian style music and no lyrics were added."here" she said handing Shani a bottle that contained fresh animal blood "you can sit in the bed if you want to" Katia said pointing at the round bed.

Haven't talked to any myself. But what I’ve gotten from my people watching is that there's the type that only talk about how horrible other people are dressed and who's dating who and then there's the other type who are sort of crazy and still shake when they when the execution squad is mentioned...there's some small varieties on the categories but yeah.
“Hmm, I can see now why you couldn’t find any intelligent conversation.” Shani laughed at Katia’s description of the humans at this place. For the first group Shani held only scorn and annoyance. The second group, however, she found pitiable. Even when she had been a human, Shani had never seen the point of worrying about death. It was the inevitable, the unstoppable. As a vampire she knew that it was very possible she wouldn’t die but coming here had raised the chances considerably. However, Shani wasn’t going to waste her time worrying about death.
Shani walked patiently beside Katia until they finally got to her room. She cocked her head, examining the picture on the door. In the end Shani decided she liked it and one corner of her mouth turned up. The poster wasn’t exactly cheery, well at least not to a normal person but Shani liked it. It was powerful and actually rather pretty. Her own door didn’t have a picture on it. Instead there was a blown up record of her expulsions from various schools. She had circled the last one in red Sharpie, wanting to commemorate her favorite expulsion yet.
Shani stepped into the room after Katia and closed the door. She sighed happily as the smells of the room reached her. Animals might not be as fun to hunt but that didn’t mean the blood still didn’t smell splendid. She strode to the bed, turning around and sinking gracefully onto it.
“Your room smells delicious.” Shani told Katia contentedly. She looked around the room more now that she was sitting down. There didn’t seem to be any color in the entire room except for the purple lava lamp and any splash of color in one of the posters covering the wall. She spotted the porcelain and clay figures and her eyes widened at the detail. They weren’t pleasant or suited for the weak stomach but they were lovely. Shani nodded her head toward them when Katia turned to face her.
“Those are beautiful.” She stated simply.

"exactly..some non humans are interesting haven't spoken to any demons, witches or ghost here though but I've watched them some of them are just like the humans and some are well I don't really know" Katia explained as she continued to walk through what it seemed an endless hallway. Lefts and rights followed the girls in search of Katia's room until they finally arrived.
Katia took pride at Shani's expression when entering Katia's room. Your room smells delicious.” Katia nodded "thank you, reminds me of home which is frankly one of the only things I miss about my house the smell and the fact that i could get human blood and not the red paint they are trying to shove down our throats in this school" Katia said just remembering the smell and the look made her pale nose wrinkle "although I feel that they wanted us to hunt, for one we must learn how to do it I mean can we as vampires expect everywhere we go to have some one with a packet of blood to hand us when we're thirsty?" She asked rhetorically "and if they really didn't want us to get other blood they wouldn't give us such a crappy substitute"Katia said with another wrinkling of her nose
Shani stated something and Katia turned around to see what she was talking about. "ah, yes I collect them I find them quite interesting" she said with a slight nod as she took a seat in a black bean bag chair her cat Luciferia climbing onto her lap. "and it matches all the books I have about torture" she stated with a wicked smirk. Her silver eyes looking around her room again as her nails ran through the cat's raven colored fur
A slight hissing noise was heard from the background in a way it matched the Gothic styled music. Her head slightly turned to face her python and just smirked getting up and settling her cat on the black bean bag that she used when reading her books. She bend over and pulled out a metal box from under her bed searching her inner thigh for another key and opening it slightly. Her black nails pulled out a pinkish tail as a white mouse started to wiggle and squeal around.she moved to wards her python and threw the mouse in no time the snake had devoured the white animal.
"you know I've been thinking perhaps we can't find an intelligent prey but human blood is human blood no matter how smart he or she is" Katia said her voice trailing off as she took a seat in the bean bag once more petting the cat "perhaps we can drink the blood of the stupider ones that don't take their lives seriously, if they don't appreciate what they have..we might as well take it away from them"she said softly evil lurking in her eyes.

Shani smiled as they continued to walk and talk. Apparently Katia really hadn’t tried to make many friends during her time here. She had neglected to meet people from all but a few races.
“I knew a couple of demons back in New York.” She commented shrugging lightly. They hadn’t been super best buddies but they had tolerated each other. Both of them had lived in her hunting territory which had aggravated her until she realized they didn’t really care. She had been afraid they would tell her to leave but they told her they didn’t care if she hunted there. After that they had got along fine. A couple conversations actually took place and Shani had found them to be intriguing. She raised her eyebrows when Katia said that her rooms smell reminded her of her house. She let her back fall onto the bad and sighed.
“That must have been nice. My house smelled like bleach.” She stated, wrinkling her nose. It had been overpowering as a human and as a vampire it had made her want to strangle someone. It had become her policy to roam the streets after dark instead of returning to her stark white bleached house. Her mother was a clean freak and Shani had really never understood her obsessive quirks. It made her house a living hell though, her nose burned every time she came in.
“You might have something there.” Shani nodded, they really couldn’t expect handouts everywhere they went. “But still, shoving that blood, if that’s what you can call it, down our throats is cruel and unusual punishment.” She laughed quietly, a malicious undertone running through her laugh. Cruel and unusual punishment wasn’t something she had a problem with, it was fun really. But that blood? So not fun, not even a little.
and it matches all the books I have about torture.
Shani turned her head to the side, and looked at Katia. She grinned; it seemed she was in luck. Her first day at the school and she had already found a like mind. Shani was a bit sadistic, okay a lot sadistic, and even though she felt like she was wasting her time on anyone she played with it was still fun.
“I’ve got a scale model of Vlad the Impaler’s torture chambers.” She told her, beaming. Shani had built it way back when she was ten, still a human. Her teachers had been very impressed by the perfectness of it, well until they found out exactly what it was a model of. Then they had just seemed freaked out, like she was some sadistic little freak. And she was, but that’s not the point. She shrugged, grinning. Shani frowned at the sound of a mouse squeaking. She hated mice, they were disgusting little pieces of vermin. As far as she was concerned the only thing they were good for was as prey. That is exactly why she grinned hugely as Katia fed the thing to her snake.
perhaps we can drink the blood of the stupider ones that don't take their lives seriously, if they don't appreciate what they have...we might as well take it away from them.
Shani rocketed back up into a sitting position in a second. Her eyes were delighted as she beamed at Katia. She bounced up and down like a little kid on christmas. Shani was absolutely delighted with Katia. It seemed like they enjoyed some of the same things and here she was proposing the best idea ever.
“You have got to be the funnest person I have ever met.”

"My best friend back home is a demon, I just haven't found any demons that have caught my interest"She said. For Katia if she was the one to start a conversation she had to be interested in the person, something about them had either to make the vampire raise a blond eyebrow or made her want to know more about them, this however did not stand to all her conversations because she would speak to anyone who spoke to her first, and when she was outside in a rave she tended to be more outgoing and therefore would speak to more people.
Her silver eyes caught the other vampire wrinkling her nose at the mention of the smell of her house "No offense but that's a horrible smell" She said honestly, if she didn't like something katia would say it not being afraid of holding it back she found dishonesty very impolite when it was not required for example she would lie her little black heart out if there was a greater good, which more than often was to cause some type of chaos.
Katia nodded with Shani as she referred to the blood packets a "cruel and unusual punishment" quite frankly she adored that but not so much on her "unless you're one of those vegetarian vampires or whatever they call themselves"She said with a slight wrinkle of her nose, by all means they could do whatever they wanted and drink the blood of a rotting rat for all she cared but she would never ever would want to do that human blood was the best thing since torture devices how could she refuse something like that.
“I’ve got a scale model of Vlad the Impaler’s torture chambers.” A gasp escaped Katia's lips "I just adore Vlad the Impaler I have a portrait of him" she said pointing at the small portrait of him next to her bed, and then the blown up picture of him that she made into a poster "I always wanted to do a scale model of the torture chamber but my little brother always recked them" she said, it appeared as if the girls were talking about a hot rock star when in reality they were talking about a cruel ruler. "I dolls of Countess Elizabeth Bathory and Jack the Ripper" Katia grinned lifting both dolls up by the arms, both were like those collectible dolls. Katia grinned pleased "Finally I meet someone who calls him Vlad the impaler rather than just Dracula"she said, she loved Dracula but Vlad the Impaler sounded better.
Now that the vampire had taken a seat again she noticed how Shani sat right up at the mention of a possible human hunting. Katia's malevolent smirk played in her lips "Thank you, I find you very entertaining as well..so what do you say, are you up for a little human hunting?" she asked

No offense but that's a horrible smell.
Shani groaned, and her nose wrinkled again. She hated her old home, it was as if her mother had specifically thought up ways she could annoy her hightened senses, vampire daughter. To be honest Shani had never really cared for her parents. They had seemed to not appreciate her sadistic talents and Shani thought that they had kicked her out because of fear. At that thought an amused smirk spread across her delicate features. Looking at her, you wouldn’t guess so much malevolence could be in a sweet girl like that. What a riot, with her almost angelic features she could have almost anyone eating out of the palm of her hand.
“Trust me, I took offense to the smell.” She grumbled. Shani had wanted to see if she could get her mother committed at some points. It just wasn’t normal to bleach everything within view. There had to be some disorder relating that. She rolled her eyes at the mention of “vegetarian” vampires. It was one thing to drink animal blood out of necessity but to prefer it? That was just perverted, sick; vampires were just made a certain way. They were predators, humans were prey. That was all there was to it.
“Ugh, some people and their morals.” She said, her lip curling a little bit. As far as Shani was concerned morality was a point of view, nothing that she needed to be worried about. And, hey, if it was she was sure she knew where the real party was in the hereafter. She really didn’t see the pint in adhering to society’s idea of “right and wrong,” they were all a bunch of hypocrites anyway. An actual smile graced Shani’s face when she heard that Katia loved good old Vlad too. Her face turned toward Ketia and she grinned when she saw the dolls. Jack the Ripper, cool. Count Elizabeth Bathory? Her own personal hero, come one the woman had been accused of toruring and killing over 600, that seriously needed some positive recognition. Which wasn’t all that likely. Well, at least she had a sadist following.
“Those are awesome.” Waving her hand toward the dolls Shani grinned. She nodded slightly. Dracula was pretty cool, but Vlad the Implaer just sounded a whole lot more threatening. Really, what was Dracula but a horny hypnotist? Where as Vlad was the ultimate cruel ruler.
“Well, Dracula is all right I guess. But really, he was just a some vampire with a harem. Now Vlad the Imapler, he was awe-inspiring.” She smiled admiration in her voice. Wow, they sounded like a bunch of high school girls talking about some hot guy. However, when you throw two sadists together, what do you expect? “I mean, what is better? Having a bunch of wives, or impaling people alive on poles for the sake of scaring your enemy? I think I’m going to have to say fact is better than fiction in this instance.” She shrugged, it was all rather straight ford really. Shani raised an eyebrow. Yeah, she had only known Katia for about fifteen minutes but she really didn’t think her preferences were that hard to interpret.
“Isn’t it obvious?” Shani replied dryly.

By the expression on Shani's face katia could tell she was another fan of being a non vegetarian vampire, not that she had to read her face to know that."No matter how much I actually watch them I...I just don't get it why in hell would you want to drink animal blood for the rest of your life?"She said trying to let it out without going into a rant about blood and vampires and a bunch of other stuff "I'll drink t if I have no other choice but that doesn't mean I actually enjoy it and it will never be a match against human blood"She said.
I mean, what is better? Having a bunch of wives, or impaling people alive on poles for the sake of scaring your enemy? I think I’m going to have to say fact is better than fiction in this instance.” Katia nodded "Exactly although fact is always better than fiction" she said "I mean you have Vlad, Countess Elizabeth, Jack the ripper, not to mention real people were the ones to invent all the torture devices we love and adore and all the lovely serial killers out there" she said with a dreamy tone on her voice, yes she did a lot of reading and even though she had a few Gothic novels here or there most of her books were either about torture, murder or death.
Katia heard Shani's reply and she couldn't help but to let out a small chuckle "not really, perhaps you should put it more out there"the vampire replied with sarcasm, someone had to be extremely stupid not to notice that Shani was as twisted as Katia and if she had offered a human hunt, there was no way the vampire would resist.
Her black nails ran along the black fur of Lucy as she began to think of the best place to start their little hunting game. Katia closed her silver eyes for a few seconds and rested her head against the wall "where should we start?" Katia finally decided to ask "I mean there's a lot of people outside, there might be some people around the cemetery or the forest, not so sure about the park" she said

Shani cocked her head as she listed to Katia. Her voice seemed of some how, as if she were biting of her own words. Then Shani realized Katia was just trying not to relate how stupid she thought the veg vamps were. She shook her head at their foolishness.
“I completely agree. Nothing compares to a real hunt.” She said her voice tipped with only the slightest accent of scorn for the so called “vegetarians.” She pursed her lips, shaking her head; the fools were depriving themselves of their natural diet. She smiled as Katia talked in a somewhat dreamy tone. Oh yes, this girl was going to be fun. Shani hadn’t thought that she’d be lucky enough to find a fellow sadist on the first day but hey, apparently miracles do happen. This girl had very nice ideals, you know, looking up to serial killers and such.
“Exactly, and the sad thing is they get no credit whatsoever.” Shani shook her head sadly, her voice sounded like a sigh. “Almost no one appreciates torture anymore. Sadly its turned into somewhat of a lost art.” Shani frowned at the thought. Too many people were so into morals, obsessed with that whole “heaven” thing. If it was that hard to get in presumably it would be like an Ivy collage. Too much work, too little fun, at least that’s what Shani thought. She grinned when she caught Katia’s sarcastic comment. Really, her preferences couldn’t be better known if she shouted them from the astrology tower. Shani leaned forward and rested her delicate white palm against her chin. One slim finger tapped her lips as she considered the possible hunting grounds.
“Hmm, the cemetery I should think.” Shani paused to grin. “It’s too much of a cliché to resist hunting there. Besides,” she mused, “I’ve always wanted to know if one could taste grief.”
--sorry this took so long, my muse really isn't cooperating.--
