He pushed the back door of the club open. The kid was 'tight' with most of the bouncers and musicians of almost all of the nightime highlights. It was not that they were old friends, best friends, or anything of that asortment. He just had connections, or they did. In most cases, he had dealt them some sort of drugs in the two years or so that he had been going to Forevermore.
The sophmores step was slow, graceful, and at the same time careful as he made his way through the shaded, dark ally. His head was down and white headphones were hanging from his small, human ears. The cords traced down to the pocket of his girls skinny jeans where his ipod hide. For a change, his ipod was low so he could easily hear the sound of the wind and quiet wispers. Eyes watched his high top pumas step on the gravel. Once he spotted a decent sized rock, Benjamin kicked it and listened to it bounce on the ground and off a near-by brick wall.
It was dark outside and a tad cold, such a beautiful night, why go home? He allowed his head to look up at the dark sky to look at the clouds. It would probably rain tonight, something that made him warm on the inside. To him, this night was perfect. He stuffed his hands in his jacket pocket and let a grin slide upon his face.
He waltzed around the ally aimlessly. He really did not have anywhere else to go, except his dorm, and he did not feel called to there. Benji was buzzed and was not in the mood to get hardcore wasted tonight. He did not want another hangover. He bit his lip as he slowed his pace. The ally was semi long and lonely, but he enjoyed its company.
[ooc - sorry, its short. :[ ]

When Saphira had gone out for the night, she really hadn’t expected to drink at all. She had just wanted to go to the club and listen to some live music; that was it. But things didn’t always go as planned, and tonight was just one of those nights. Almost as soon as she walked into the club, wearing a black mini skirt and a grey and black stripped tank top with a black jacket, a man came up and asked if he could buy her a drink. She didn’t want to refuse him, it seemed a little rude to her, anyway, it was just one drink, what harm could it possibly do?
She soon found herself being led over to a more secluded area of the club, the one man coming back with her drink and two other men. Taking her drink, she tried to drink it slowly, and listen to the music playing, but she didn’t want to seem rude, so she tried her hardest to have a conversation with the men. As soon as she was almost finished with her first drink, they offered her another one, and then another one after that. It wouldn’t have been that much of a problem, if Saphira was use to drinking, but she actually didn’t drink very much, and by three drinks, she was wasted.
Everything seemed to be funny to her now, and besides the drinks that they kept offering her, she didn’t notice much else. She didn’t notice one of the man’s hands on her thigh, or the hands that kept finding their way to her chest. No, that just made her laugh; all she really saw were the hands giving her more drinks. She wasn’t comprehending anything they were saying, she was just nodding and occasionally slurring out a few words, and giggling every five seconds.
She didn’t know what they had said, but she had nodded anyway, letting them help her up and lead her out of the club. Saphira kept stumbling as she tried to walk, but the men didn’t seem to notice that at all. She didn’t really know where she was right now, but everything was a little blurred and nothing looked right, but it seemed like an alleyway. She wasn’t exactly sure though, nor did she care.
One of the men pushed her up again a wall, making a small gasp escape her, followed by giggling. The man started kissing her, while the other two just sort of watched hungrily. She didn’t notice that her jacket had somehow come off between the club and the wall, or that the man trying to shove his tongue down her throat had his hand going up her skirt. She really preferred the drinking right now though, it wasn’t as fun anymore, still a little fun though. She just wanted some more alcohol.

He paused as a door a while in front of him opened and three guys led a drunk girl out. She was sumbling a bit, most definatly wasted. He felt a little bad for the girl, he knew what was coming. She would probably enjoy it now, but later, probably not. Probably. Still, Benjamin knew better than to interfear and get his ass kicked. It was her own fault anyway, she really should learn how to say no.
His head shook, and his feet continued to walk. A frown was on his face. He still felt bad for her. As he bit his lip and looked down at the ground, his thumb turned up the music to block out her giggleing and the mens voices. As he walked by, he nodded to the guys and glanced at the girl. She looked familiar. Probably just another kid from school. Benji took another step then looked more intently at her. Saphria. He was filled with rage. It was not like he liked her, but for some reason he was angry.
Before he could stop himself he was stepping quickly toward the group of four. Inside, he knew that he should stop and turn away and save his own ass, but he kept going still. He could feel the two watching men glaring at him. One stepped foreward, but Benjamin brushed past him swiftly as if the guy was nothing. His right fist curled up and flew through the air to give the guy, who was shoving his hands in places that everyone knew they should not belong, harshly in the back of the head. Shit The word slipped from him as the guy wheeled around and all three closed in quickly.
His eyes looked quickly at Saphira. Before anything could come from his mouth he was knocked backwards with a blow to the head. He groaned then regained his ballance to fling his leg at any of the male's balls. Benjamin felt another fist coming into contact with his side and twirled around to let his whack the nose of the male. The male stepped back with his hand covering his nose. The guy, whom Benjamin kicked his sack, slammed the sixteen year old into the brick wall behind him. Benji nailed him twice in the temple of his head, which sent him backwords. After several other attacks, the males retreated leaving the boy to the girl.
The kid, who was still against the wall, slide down it and groaned. His body ached and he could feel several spots swelling already. He bit his lip then stood up again. He grabbed Saphiras wrist, hoping she would not give a fight of any sort, then began to make his way again down the ally. His pace was quick. Im sorry Benji Ashe told the girl, even though he was not sure what for. He did not know what to do with her exactly, but he did not want to leave her hear. May as well take her to his dorm.

Saphira wasn’t really sure what was going on, but she figured that it wasn’t very good when the man who had had his lips attached to her before had stopped touching her completely and turned around. She saw another man with the other three now, or at least she thought so, but she wasn’t exactly sure if her eyes were playing tricks on her or not. Though she didn’t really care, she just didn’t like that the attention wasn’t on her. Well, that and now that she didn’t have the man holding her up against the wall, her legs were starting to give out, making her slide down the wall.
She didn’t really notice the men walk away, or that the fighting had stopped, she just noticed that someone had grabbed her wrist. Forcing herself up, she looked at the boy. It looked like Benjamin, she was sure it was him, but she wasn’t having the best of judgment today. Letting a smile slide onto her face, a small giggle escaped her lips. “Hi Benji.” she said, trying not to slur her words, though her concentration was mostly on trying to keep up with him. He was walking pretty fast, for her at least, and she couldn’t help but stumble a few times.
Having not been noticing very much tonight, she had just realized that the three other men weren’t there anymore. “Why’d they leave?” she asked, a confused expression making its way slowly onto her face. “I didn’t get to say goodbye.” she added, pouting slightly. Saphira didn’t like not being able to say goodbye, it just wasn’t something that she did, she always had to say goodbye. “Mommy’s going to mad.” she whispered, giggling. She was mainly saying that about her mom would get mad if she found out she hadn’t said goodbye to someone, not the whole she was drunk thing, but she would probably get mad at that too.
Doing her best to keep up with him, she realized that they weren’t going back into the club, she didn’t know where they were going. “Hey, where we going?” she asked, “I was having fun before!” she whined, trying to pull her wrist back, but not having any luck. She tried to just stop walking, but that didn’t work either, she just stumbled forward and almost fell. She just wanted to have some more fun, and this wasn’t very fun right now. “You’se going to fast.” the words sounded liking whining again, and were starting to come out more slurred.

He tried his best to distract himself so that he could calm down a little. His body had heated up with rage and knew that it was best that he cooled down before speaking to her, or even doind something to her that he did not exactly want to. His body whined for a cold beer knowing that it would help him very much, besides his buzz was almost gone. Yet he did not slow nor turn around, knowing that if he was going to drink then the already wasted girl would.
Why’d they leave? I didn’t get to say goodbye. Mommy’s going to mad. Her words made his head turn to look at her with an expression of utter confusion. To him, it sounded as if she wanted to get screwed by three random guys. Benjamin remembered that she was not exactly in a clear state of mind, and forgot about her wish. They... He paused as he tried to think of a kind way to phrase an excuse. realized how late it was getting and had to leave. He was already lieing, and knew that a lie would be one of the only things that would calm her, besides, a lie was way better than the truth at the time. My dear, you did say goodbye. Do you not remember? Your mother would be proud. Benjamin bit his lip as he walked. He hated lieing and hated liars, but he could not tell her the truth. It would probably be worse than a silly lie she would not remember in the morning.
He continued to comfort himself with excuses of how he was doing the right thing. Benjamin was indeed upset at how he was handling the situation, but truth was he did not know what else to do. Caught up in his thoughts, he barly heard her whiny voice was speaking again. Hey, where we going? I was having fun before! He sighed to himself, what should he tell her to this.
Benji said the first thing that came to him. Im taking you home with me. Even though it was the truth, he did not realize until after it was out of his mouth that it was probably not something that she would want to hear. Unless you have a better idea that you would like to enlighten me with. He then proceded to ignore the statement of her having fun. To the human, it seemed like she was being quiet rediculous.
It was then that he noticed how much she was stumbling and how fast he was walking. How could he have not noticed this before? He whiny voice slurred the complaint. You’se going to fast. Benjamin knew that if he slowed his pace at all that it would drive him insane. The faster he got home, the better. Thinking quickly, he paused to reach down and litterally sweep her off her feet and cradle her body like a little baby. He hoped that she would not put up a complaint against this action. Is this better, Love?
Again with the pet names. He constantly was saying things like 'love', 'dear', and 'sweetie'. It was more of a habit that he could not stop. Maybe if he really really tried, but he never did. Some girls hated it, some ignored it, and even less liked it. He knew it could get annoying, but Benji could care less. To him, it was their loss. He could always find someone else.

It took a few seconds for her to comprehend his words. She really should never have accepted the drinks offered to her earlier, giving alcohol to a monkey probably wasn’t the smartest idea in the world. “Oh..” she said, giggling slightly. That made sense, it was late. If she was sober, that would have been a completely lame excuse and she never would have taken it, but she wasn’t exactly sober right now…more like the complete opposite. Saphira was actually kind of sad at his news about them having to leave, but she got over it quickly.
She had said goodbye? She didn’t remember that at all. But she wasn’t being very good at remembering anything right now. “No, I don’t. But if you say I did..” she giggled, stumbling as she continued walking. She was just trusting that he was right, people didn’t lie, right? Well, she seemed to be under that impression right now at least. She was just glad that her mom couldn’t get on about not saying goodbye right now, even though she was technically an adult and the possibility of her mom actually ever finding out was very slim, but her mom’s spells were not something that Saphira liked, sober or not.
Wait, she was going home with him? Was that a good or bad thing? Oh well, she didn’t really know good from bad right now. “What if I don’t want to go home with you?” she asked, trying to pull away from him again. Really, she hadn’t learned from before that she couldn’t get away, she wasn’t strong enough right now. “The club!” that was her only suggestion, that or any other place with alcohol.
Feeling herself be swept up into his arms, her head spinned a bit inside, he had moved to fast for her liking right now, making a small groan escape her. “Much. Thanks you.” she mumbled, laying her head on him. This felt better, she was getting tired of walking anyway, being carried was much more to her liking. Now she wouldn’t stumble anymore, or have to worry about her legs giving out on her.

His pace slowed, but just a tad. He repostioned her, not that she was heavy, but he just want to make sure he would not slip. He could not imagine what would happen if she hit the ground. His face could wind up with another hand print, something it certantly did not need. He wondered how many bruises were growing on his face. Although the boy was positive that he had no blood on him, he was still worried about his injuries.
Saphira's voice intureppted his worry filled mind. No, I don’t. But if you say I did.. At her words, he gave several little akward nods, the kind you give when you are giving up an annoying argument. Of coarse this was not an argument, or an annoying conversation. He was simply giving up the truth for a little bit. Sweetie, you did. After these comforting words, he proceded to say something that he knew he would hate himself for saying. Promise. Although it was one word, it was one of the biggest lies. Benjamin did not trust many promises, and hated the fact that she nor himself could not trust his own. If you can not trust yourself, who can you trust?
She seemed to be giggling a lot, something he enjoyed because it calmed his mind down. How could you be upset when the person you were with was letting a little-kid style laugh be heard at the smallest things? Her next words did however concern Benji, What if I don’t want to go home with you? Did she really not like him that much? He wanted to frown, but knew better than to show this sign of weakness to a wasted person, even if she most likely would not have noticed this expression. He fought the urge then listened to her next words. The club!
His eyes rolled at her last two words. Of coarse. She just wanted alchol. He sighed then looked right into her eyes as he spoke gently to her. My Love, you will not be drinking anymore tonight. Although his voice spoke of this, Benji knew that as soon as he got home, he would open a cold beer and drink it like it was simply water. Never in his right mind, would he allow her to drink any thing else tonight. He braced himself for any harsh words or actions that she would do in response to his new rule.
He grinned when she told him how she enjoyed be carried. Benji held her tighter against his chest, knowing that if she was not drunk he probably could not do it. Although, he was not one for taking advantage of any soul, he did enjoy this a lot. Especially when she allowed her head to roll onto his shoulder. The boy resisted the urge to reach down and kiss her forehead, something he knew would be taking it to far. It she was in her right mind and still allowed him to do all this, he would in fact be all over this situation. But she wasn't in her right mind and that changed everything. His voice uttered out a soft wisper into her ear You are quite welcome. Again he resisted the urge, and told himself that he should not wisper into her ear again. This was going to be a long night, but he looked foreward to it all the same.

His words made her feel a little bit better, she didn’t like being in trouble and right now that was the only thing she could think of that might get her into trouble. She wasn’t thinking about the whole drunk thing, or letting three guys take her where they wanted, she wasn’t making the connection that she had done that or that it was bad. “Mmkay. Thanks.” she murmured. His promise made her feel a lot better, because if he promised it, it had to be true, right? Of course, no one ever lied about promise.
The night air was cold against Saphira’s exposed skin. She didn’t realize it, but her jacket had been lost somewhere earlier that night, and wearing a tank top and a skirt didn’t keep you very warm in winter. Especially at night. It was a bit better now that she was in his arms, but it still didn’t stop her from shivering slightly. She tried her best to pull herself closer to him, though it didn’t really work at all, making a small whine come from her because of her failed attempt, she didn’t like failing very much.
Hearing his words, an angry expression took over her face. “Nooo! I wants more drinking!” she whined, getting angrier at him for not letting her drink. She balled her hand into a fist and hit his chest a few times, not that she was very strong right now, but in her mind she was getting something done, but she also wasn’t really in her right mind. giving up, she paused for a little. “Why can’t I drink anymore?” she asked, sighing. She wanted to drink, why wasn’t he letting her? It wasn’t bad.
Feeling him hold her tighter, a smile crossed over face. She liked being held, and carried. She giggled again when he spoke, it was rare when anyone actually used manners, and she liked it that he had. Of course normally she wouldn’t giggle because of that, but she wasted, so yeah, she totally has an excuse. She sighed again, not letting her head move from his shoulder. To her, everything was good and perfectly all right, except for the fact that he wasn’t letting her drink, but beside that, she found nothing wrong with the night so far.

His arms felt her shiver, and he frowned to himself. His gaze looked down at her bare skin. It was then that he realized how low her tank top was and how short her skirt was. In attempt to push that thought aside, he focused on what to do with the cold girl. Benji could feel her adjesting herself to get colser to him and he assumed it was do it his body heat. Either way, it pleased him. Mostly because he liked the feeling of her needing him, even if she was wasted. It was just something that he enjoyed and did not get too much. He really did not know what to do to fix the fact that she was freezing. His lips twisted together as he attempted to think of something, of anything.
Nothing, again, except that her top was low just as her skirt was short. His head rolled back quickly, ashamed of his thoughts and glad that she was no mind reader. Nooo! I wants more drinking! Why can’t I drink anymore? Her words intureppeted his thoughts abruptly. Even though they were close to his dorm and almost on school grounds he ceased the walking. His body slid down a near by wall. He kept her in his lap and pulled her a little close. Him sitting down made it easier to hold her small body.
Removing his hands, he quickly took of his jacket wich revealed a shortsleve, light purple v-neck. He winced as he felt the cold hit his exposed skin. Being a gentle men he wrapped her torso with the jacket. Listen. He breathed to her, prepareing them both for what was to come. Benjamin scrambled some words togeather, making it up as he went. We are rather close to home, and i really need you to calm down and try to think rationaly He shook his head then rephrased his last word clearly. Can you do that for me? Please?
It was then that he remembered how upset she was when Saphira remembered that she had not said goodbye and was worried what her mother would say. He knew this might be a little harsh, but it would get the job done. In a softer voice he added, Would your mother like this? I think she would be upset if I gave you even a sip! He felt upset by his words. They were not exactly lies as before, but he still did not want to upset her at all. Benji bit his lip nervously.
When her soft giggle reached his ears, he grinned at her. His smile was like a soft and made him look like a little boy. He wondered what exactly she was laughing at, but decided it was better to not worry about that and just be happy that she found this situation pleasing to her. That made one of them.

She could tell when he stopped walking, it might have taken her a few seconds to realize that they were no longer walking, but she figured it out soon enough. Though right after she figured it out, she felt him sliding down, bringing her with him. She didn’t understand why at all, she knew that she was in his lap and he was sitting down, but she didn’t know why or where. "Why'd you stop?" she asked, she didn’t really care, as long as he didn’t make her walk at least, but she was still curious.
Feeling a jacket being wrapped around her, she smiled, almost automatically feeling warmer. “Thanks.” she whispered, laying her back on his shoulder. Saphira liked having the jacket on, it made her feel safer almost as well as warmer, though right now she really cared about the warmer part more. Her shivering had stopped because of the coat, she didn’t really notice that though, but she hadn’t really realized it, or at least comprehend, that she had been shivering before in the first place.
Now he was just confusing her, she was clam, right? She felt calm at least. “I am calm though.” she stated, her confusion evident in her voice. “And I am thinking clearly. Why wouldn’t I be?” she asked, clearly still confused. Saphira didn’t really think that she wasn’t thinking clearly, but she had also only been drunk a few times before and never in public, she wasn’t exactly use to the whole drinking alcohol thing. So she didn’t think anything was wrong with her thinking, but she did want to do what he asked her to.
Hearing him speak again, all thoughts of wanting more alcohol left her. He was right, and that completely scared her, not really that he was right, but the realization of her mother’s reaction to her drinking. It dawned on her that she had been drinking before and that if her mother found out she was in big trouble, but the only one who knew was Benji and those men who don’t know who her mother is, right? Of course. Saphira quickly nodded to his words, “You won’t tell my mother that I was drinking at all tonight, right?” she asked nervously.

Instictivly, he bagan to rock her slowly. Perhaps it was how small she looked in his arms. Perhaps it was how she was acting, as immature as a five year old. Perhaps because he thought it was just something to keep him warm. His eyes looked down at her softly as he awaited her words. He caught himself mid-rock and ceased the motion. The sophmore knew that if she was sober and reconized this action, that she would most likly be royal pissed. He knew he would be, but that was different. He was after all a guy. Still, he quickly decided to stop the movement.
He waited patiently for her to speak, knowing that is may take a while for her to think of what to say. Yet by the way her face was twisted, he did not think he wanted to hear her words. Still, it came to him. I am calm! And I am thinking clearly. Why wouldn’t I be? He wanted to let a warm, low chuckle escape his mouth yet knew that would be quite rude, especially when she seemed to be very serious. She looked rather confussed and angered by his interrogation, yet he still pushed the facts on her. Even though he did this, he eased up on the words forming them so that they would not sound harsh at all.
Ah, yes my dear. And although you may think so, I do not. He paused, getting ready to point out more of the obvious, or at least it was obvious to him and the other people passing them by whom which he ignored. In fact, I think you are rather He searched for the right word- irrational, insane, mad, delusional. He settled for the blunt, obvious word. drunk. And i do not think that it is a grand idea for you to be paradeing about byyourself in this situation. Benji could only hope that she could understand atleast half of this concept and that if and once she did that she would not get angrered by him. He could not prodict anymore when one of the random mood swings would occur. There was no pattern.
Speaking of mood swings. His eyes watched as she seemed to become frighten and worried. Her words came out slightly shaky You won’t tell my mother that I was drinking at all tonight, right? He thought about this idea for a split second. Benjamin was upset by the fact that he had upset her by this concept, but it seemed like she was finally understanding what it was she did that was wrong. No, I will not tell her, for I am in no position to explain to her what happened tonight. You can though, If you would like to. He smiled a reassureing smile at her.
Air rushed into his lungs quickly as he took a deep breath, held it, then let it out slowly. His gaze looked down at her once again. They should probably start up once more to his dorm. It would only be getting colder as the night went on and Benji was shivering like a mad man. Before he moved he opened his mouth to speak once more. Would you like to move on? Even if she objected to this idea, he would most like-ly rise to his feet anyway and make his way home once more. His ears waited patiently for her response. The boy was in no hurry, for the most part.

Feeling her body rock back and forth, she sighed slightly. She liked the feeling, even though if she was sober she would probably hate it, but she wasn’t right now, was she? And in the state that she was in now, it felt nice to be rocked back and forth, though she was also liking a lot of things that she didn’t normally like right now. Feeling the motion stop, she let a small whimper escape her lips, she had liked it, even if she hadn’t been fully comprehending it.
Wait, he didn’t think that she was thinking clearly? Really he was confusing her even more now, and she didn’t really like being confused. And him telling her that she was drunk just made her even more confused. “How am I drunk? I didn’t drink that much!” she exclaimed, a shocked expression on her face. Even though she didn’t really remember how much she had drank, she only remembered taking whatever drink was offered to her, which couldn’t have been that much, right? “And whoever said that I was leaving you?” she asked. Saphira didn’t was to be by herself right now, she wasn’t company, so why would she go off on her own? That wouldn’t make sense.
Saphira sighed, hearing him say that he wouldn’t tell her mother. That was a good thing, she didn’t like getting in trouble with her mother, her father she was okay with because he didn’t really do anything, but her mother would put a hex on her or something. The curse of having a witch for a mother. “Good. Thank you.” she told him, a smile finding its way onto her face.
Hearing him speak again, Saphira nodded. ”Yes please.” she responded, not looking up at him right now. She didn’t really care if they left or not, but she had no objections to leaving the outside because it was cold, even though she felt ten times better with the jacket on, she still knew that it was warmer inside. Though she did like the idea of staying in one place and not moving right now, but that was mainly because she had gotten use to it.

Once her soft moan reached his ears, he felt a little bad that he had stopped rocking. She seemed to enjoy it, or he thought she did at least. The boy considered if he should continue the movement, but quickly decided not to. It was so tempting yet he froze and settled to just adjust her weight in order for her to be pressed against him a little more. He grinned at this, it did make him warmer. Benji wanted his sweatshirt back, but ofcorse he would not say anything about the subject, she probably needed it more than him anyways.
She looked so confused. Had he said something that trobled her again? He really was not good with comfortations and hated how much he was having to talk to her so that she would calm down. Benji was quiet shy really. He had no confidence, yet it helped a little knowing that she would probably forget this all before the morning. How am I drunk? I didn’t drink that much! His head bobbed a bit as he thought of how to phrase his next statement. He flashed a smile then replied Maybe you did not drink a lot, but you are drunk silly my dear. As he said this, a pale hand reached up to brush a strand of black locks that had fallen on her face.
The boy gave another sweet smile, hoping it would calm her down. Even though he gave this action, her voice replied sounding stressed and panic-struck. And whoever said that I was leaving you? Shit. He had really done it now. His head rolled back then popped up quickly. How come everything he said and did continued to upset her. Well, if you do not start to clam down, i just might leave you in no time. He blurted the statement out then hated himself for it. This would most certaintly not help. He was just getting nervous about how she felt and about what to say to calm her down.
Still distressed over his own words, he did not hear her thanks or her sigh that was released. He really could not believe that he could be so stupid. Doing his best to gather his thoughts and pay attention to her, he heard her give him permission to leave. His body rose slowly then he shivered as a fierce wind hit his back. Benji squineted his eyes a bit then began a quick pace.
Once on the school grounds, he kept mostly to the shadows. He did not want to see anyone, or have anyone see him. Benji did not need another person on his case. He walked a bit faster at that thought. Almost there, he kept telling himself reassuringly. Almost there was a bit of an understatment for they were in the same building as his dorm. He hated to admit it, but the truth was he was always this paranoid. Again, he did his best to calm himself down.
As soon as he slid through the door way he looked down at her, hoping that she had not noticed his incident. We are here Love. He kissed her forehead, then scolded himself for that. The boy gently set her down, taking his time in order to make sure she would be ok. Benjamin's pale, cold hand rested on the small of her back. It was another automatic gesture, one he barly realized he was doing.

He just seemed to be confusing her tonight, and she wasn’t used to being confused so easily. It was really irritating her, she normally understood just about everything people said, and it had never been this hard for her to understand someone before. Saphira wasn’t too good at things she wasn’t used to, and she didn’t like them very much either. “That doesn’t make any sense.” she mumbled, not understanding how she could be drunk silly without drinking a lot, but she was trying to forget that she was getting confused so easily. It actually wasn’t that hard, especially as he brushed some of her hair of her face causing her to giggle again.
Her moments of somewhat calmness were short lived as she heard him speak again. How was she supposed to be calm when he said things like that? All it did was make things worse, and scare her. She didn’t want him to leave her, the mere thought of it terrified her. She didn’t notice that her breathing had quickened, or that her facial expression matched exactly what she was feeling right now. “No! Please don’t!” she whimpered, clinging onto him. She didn’t want to be alone right now, and if he left her, she would be alone.
Feeling herself being lifted off of the ground, she sighed, glad that he wasn’t leaving her behind. She didn’t know what she would have done if that had happened, probably attempt to go after him but not get very far. Right now she was just glad that he didn’t leave her, and that she didn’t have to walk, because she would never have been able to keep up with him, he was walking way too fast. Saphira could barley tell what their surroundings were when she actually tried to, but that didn’t really mean anything.
Finally, they had reached their destination, according to him at least. She couldn’t help but giggle when she felt him kiss her forehead. Feeling herself being set down, she almost wished that she was back in his arms, yeah his hand was still on her back, but she liked being in his arms so much better.

He looked down at her, watching her expressions with care. Most of them, he did not know what to make of them. Besides, they changed so quickly. Mostly, she would just be looking around his drom, which was nothing better. He had a black furniture with a few scattered white peices. The only thing that had color, was a neon blue couch that ran along the wall across the tv. The room had a lot of space, due to the fact that he did not own much funiture. His eyes followed hers around the room and grinned sheepishly at the drom. It really was not much. Although it was not a mess, it still did not look good.
His hand moved in a circle, rubbing her back lightly. Benji yawned quietly, wanting to go to sleep. The moon was at its highest and he was reeady to rest. Of corse the boy would leave such a disecion up to Saphira. Not even the smallest part of him wanted to leave her alone, even if he threatened to. Benji did not mean this as to lie in the same bed as her, he would give her space during that, just not now.
A large white creature rose from the corner of the room and bounded over to the couple, flag waving happily behind his body. A pink tounge hung from the corner of his mouth. It reached out andd licked the boy before sniffing the girl for a bit. A bark was given before he sat down. Benji reached his free hand down to tug on Polo's ear playfuly. Hows my little Polo? hummm? Youve been a good dog? yes you have. oh yes you haave. His voice was quiet and soft, yet it made the creature tail wave wilder.
His smile shrunk a bit as the dimples left. He gnawed on the side of his lip for a bit then turned his gaze back at her own face. What would you like to do now, my love? As the husky words flowed warmly from his mouth he reached a leg back to kick the door into a gentle shut. The boy took several steps forewad, toward the center of the room a little more.
Awaiting her response, his eyes fell on several pictures that were on the kitchen's bar. One was him and his sister when they were five or so and the one next to it was from last year. Again, his sister and him. The ones that followed that were of random friends of his, some looked busy as if at a party and others looked calm liike it was the night after. One was of his large dog with a good sized rabbit hanging from his mouth. That picture made him smile, as did the one next to it of his mother. Benji pulled himself from the photos and looked back at the girl with a warm, reassuring smile.
[ ooc - sorry, i just got ungrounded. and my muse is gone. :] ]
