She really had been terribly bored as of late. Cassadee had actually even found the time to complete her homework, which she still thought was pointless. She was going to be in high school for the rest of her life. She might as well have some fun with her time, right? But when there was no one around for her to annoy, she really couldn’t help herself.
A couple hours after she started, she was finished with her Algebra homework, and she tossed the book aside, looking around for some other way to amuse herself. Her eyes fell on her drum set. It was usually a pretty good way to annoy people, but she didn’t really feel like hearing it today. There was this awful fact about becoming a vampire. All of your senses were heightened. Drums were loud enough when she only heard like a human. She pulled a drum stick out of her back pocket and twirled it around, watching it for a moment. Finally, she tossed her drum sticks across the room and stood, pulling her orangey-red hair into a ponytail and heading out the door.
Even as a human, she hadn’t been much for outdoor activities, but today, she felt like running. There was just something about the extra speed she had as a vampire that made running one of her favorite things to do. She’d forgotten to put shoes on before she headed outside, but she didn’t suppose it mattered. Technically speaking, she was dead. There wasn’t much that could hurt her out there.
Her pace picked up as she neared the forest. She hadn’t been here in a while, and the last time she was, she’d nearly killed a shape shifter. Hopefully there wouldn’t be anyone around to be in danger today. As she headed into the forest, she ambled up a tree. She was so much better at things like this now that she was a vampire.

Boredom. One thing that Marion Saint-Clair knew all about. Only having a few select friends who were usually always busy. So he usually spent his nights now walking around the grounds. On this particular night he lay awake in his bed, looking up at the ceiling. "Maybe we should go for a walk?" Marion turned his head to the tiny bat in the birdcage by his bed. "And where would we go Daemon?" He asked his pet with a tilted head. The bat simply grinned. "Why the forest of course! There are a lot of yummy bugs there!" Marion rolled his eyes with a chuckle before he nodded, crawling out of the bed. "Fine fine, but only for a couple hours." He said strictly. The bat nodded and flapped his wings happily.
Marion stood from the bed finally, stretching a bit as he went to his closet. It was a little awkward being in only his boxers. So he grabbed a pair of his pajama pants and a baggy t-shirt, sliding them on before grabbing daemon's cage. He slid out of his room them, his feet making absolutely no sound on the ground as he made his way to the front doors, pushing them open and walking out of the school.
Mari gave a sigh when the fresh air hit his nostrils. It was amazing to smell something fresh again. "Remember, a couple of hours. When I call, you better come." He said simply as he opened Daemon's cage, watching the large bat fly out to hunt. Mari couldn't help but smile at him as he made his way into the forest, keeping his ears and eyes peeled for any trace of trouble. Sensing nothing he continued down the path. He needed a good soak in the spring. That waterfall would keep him company. And if he got lonely, he could always call Daemon back.
After walking for a few moment, he finally reached the pond. He wasted no time in sliding out of his pajama pants and shirt before jumping into the cool waters. He sighed as he surfaced, running his hands through his now soaking hair. It felt nice to actually be able to do this again without that pesky bat bothering him...

Stand on the edge with me Hold Back your fear and seeNothing is real til it's gone PCassadee sat in the branches of the tree, her eyes closed. She nearly fell out of it when she registered the signs of someone coming. She smelled the vampire before she saw him. Heard him before she smelled him. Finally, she recognized the sight of the boy walking under the tree. She’d taken note of the bat flying away before him and figured she could give him a couple minutes of peace. If he’d wanted company, he wouldn’t have sent his pet away.
In theory, she was pretty good at giving people their personal space. That was just in theory, though. In practice, it was another story all together. She’d expected the vampire to keep moving. What she realized all too late was that her tree was very near the spring he was apparently planning to have a swim in. Cassadee didn’t bother to avert her eyes as she watched him tug off his pants and shirt. Clad in only his boxers, the boy jumped into the water. Before she could stop herself, Cassadee grabbed the branch above her and used it to swing out of the tree.
A moment later, she was standing at the edge of the spring the boy had just jumped into. Having a swim, then? she asked, though the answer was right in front of her. It had been rather silly to come over here. It wasn’t as if she had anything specific to say and now she was just going to look like a jerk. The girl shoved her hands into her pockets and let out a sigh. Really, though. I can see you’re swimming… But why in the middle of the night? Kicking off her shoes, Cass sat on the ground and let her feet dangle into the water. If she’d been human, she’d have thought it was cold. As it was, the water was probably warmer than her skin.
Rather impatiently, the girl waited for an answer, twisting a few strands of fiery red hair around her finger. She hadn’t spent a great deal of time with Marion as of late. In fact, she hadn’t spent a lot of time with anyone. She was starting to feel like she didn’t know her friends anymore. It was high time to remedy that, though, and she figured this was a pretty good place to start.

Romeo Take me
Somewhere We Can Be Alone After only a few seconds, he could feel the water getting colder. His skin was starting to turn it. He rolled his eyes, hating that effect. He just wanted to feel something warm for once. He had just moved to the shallows, sitting on the dirt under the water when his ears twitched, hearing the rustle of branches. The presence he had sensed earlier was closer now, and he heard the sound of feet hitting the ground. The voice came after that and he tried his hardest to search his memory. He knew the voice, he just couldn't put a name to it. And there was a mental block around her, so he couldn't break into her thoughts. He turned around, standing up a bit..Well..All the way..But yeah. he stood and walked into the deep water again. She asked the dumbest questions. That totally gave her away. It was Cassie...They'd known each other for a while. He didn't even know if she went back Cassie anymore. They were in the same grade in all. Even though..Well..mari had been a sophomore for almost fourty years. But he looked at her now, yes, it was Cassadee alright. He felt a bit awkward, standing there in only his boxers, but he did it anyways. "Why? Because there's no other time to do it. Everyone's asleep, and there's no one to laugh." He said simply with a shrug before he swam to the edge, poking at her foot lightly. "You should join me. I haven't swam with anyone but Sophie in years." He spoke gently."Maaaaaari! Where aaaare you?!" Marion groaned at the sound of Dae's voice. "There you are!" The bat shouted when he found his master. "Ooooh. Who's this?!" The look on Marion's face though made Daemon turn without question and fly away. Marion had to laugh a little bit. "Wow. That stupid thing won't leave me alone! He complained before he continued to poke at Cassie's foot. "Oh. Meant to ask. How've you been Cassie? I haven't seen you in ages." He asked with a tilt of the head.[/blockquote]

Stand on the edge with me Hold Back your fear and seeNothing is real til it's gone PWhen she’d come down to the edge of the spring, Cass had had no intentions of joining the boy in the water. Unfortunately, she’d never been very good at saying no. She offered him a half smile and bit her lower lip. She wasn’t about to get into the water in full dress. That would be awkward. Not to mention, she didn’t want to head back into the school soaking wet. But she couldn’t seem to convince herself to turn down the invitation. The girl wasn’t a fan of being anywhere near naked around people, but she figured it was better than letting her clothes get wet. She tugged off her shirt and shimmied out of her jeans, leaving herself in a zebra print bra and black hello kitty panties. Fortunately, the lack of blood running through her veins kept her cheeks from taking on the pale pink of a blush.
She slowly stepped into the water, feeling the water rush around her ankles. She was slightly disappointed to realize that it was, indeed, warmer than her skin. She should have been used to it by now, but she wasn’t. The boy’s poking at her foot caused her to wrinkle her nose. I’ll tell you how I am if you’ll stop calling me that, she announced. She hadn’t gone by Cassie in a few years. It didn’t quite suit her anymore. She’d gotten quite an attitude when she was turned into a monster. Cass took a couple more steps into the water before she dove under. If she was going to get wet, she might as well go all the way under, right?
With a sigh, she swam closer to the middle of the springs. I’ve been alright, I guess. I mean aside from managing to nearly cut my own arm off in the bathroom the other day… She bit her lip again, realizing that she might have blushed at the memory of Ansel if she’d been able. On days like these, she was glad to be immortal. It kept her thoughts from showing so easily on her face. How’ve you been? I’ve missed you! She grinned at the boy. The last she’d heard, he’d become convinced that he was gay. She certainly hoped that wasn’t the case. Gay boys tended to depress her. Maybe that was just because she was such a flirt, though.

Marion smiled brightly when Cass started to shred her clothes to join him. He had to admit, the bra and panties were absoluetely adorable, and totally something Cassie would wear. He noted her tense though, sensed the embarassment. "Oh come on. You can't honestly be embarassed? We've gone swimming before. Though, you did wear a t-shirt then." He said with a throughfull look and a shrug. He was trying to make her feel better at least. Mari rolled his eyes though when she yelled at him for calling her Cassie. "Oh come on..I've always called you Cassie! It just feels odd calling you Cass." He complained with a purse of his lips. Of course, when she mentioned almost cutting her arm off his eyes widened. "Holy hell. What did you do that for?" He said with an oddly loud voice. Of course, she then brought up the subject of him again. So he nodded. "I've been alright I guess. Daemon's been bugging me like crazy. He won't leave me alone!" He said with a sigh, still ever complaining about his pet bat. Of course, Daemon had been a former student, a Shape-shifter to be exact, he just happened to be stuck due to a Witches spell.
Marion sighed a bit, closing the distance between him. His arm draped around her shoulder as he looked down to her. "Wow. You're still short." He said with a loud laugh, grinning as he finished. "Hey. Do you still sing? Beleive it or not, I actually picked up my guitar the other day. The first time in about.....50 years." He said with a bit of a shrug. Marion was a music buff, he just hadn't had the muse to play anything.
