It was a good thing he had come up with and answer before hand, he knew the question was coming. "Sometimes it's handy to have a headmaster for your father." It was partially a lie, but she'd have to accept it because he wasn't going to tell her the real reason behind him knowing about them. Besides, they had pizza to go get now.
-------
The walk to Frank's Pizza thankfully didn't take that long, and Caspar was able to stay mainly in the shadows of trees and such. There was almost no one three, other then a couple other students enjoying food other then from the cafeteria. Caspar led the way to one of the booths in the corner and out of the sun, sliding onto the cold plastic seat, plucking up one of the menu's.
He looked over the menu and squinted his nost a little. "Go ahead and order you want. Preferably without a lot of garlic," he said with a smile. Natually vampires didn't like garlic, but he doubted that Helena had to be reminded of that.
Now that they were in more clear light over that what was in the library, Caspar got a better look at Helena. Not that he hadn't looked before, but he liked looking at her. He thought she was one of the most adorable humans there were. He bit onto his lower lips and averted his eyes before he got too drawn into staring at her and wasn't able to stop staring at her. He really didn't want to creep her out after all. Instead, he tapped on the wood surface of the table and let his green eyes wander the entior of the pizza parlor, he couldn't remember the last time he had been there.
[ooc: sorry, 'tis crap. family guy is too distractive >.>]

Okay, so his answer did make sense. His father was the headmaster, so it made sense that he would know some things about the school that most didn’t. Sometimes she forgot who his dad was though, because even though she was always in trouble, she never seemed to be in the headmaster’s office at all, which she really didn’t mind at all. She has never really had many good experiences going to a headmaster’s office.
Walking to the pizza place wasn’t really that exciting at all, since Caspar didn’t talk at all, and he stayed out of the sunlight. A little part of her wished that he would go into the light, but then she knew it would be even more impossible for her to keep her eyes off of him – like she didn’t have a problem with that already. She couldn’t take her eyes off of him right now, so she was kind of glad he was sticking to the shadows, that way she was also pretty sure that she was the only one staring at him.
Stepping into the pizza place, it didn’t surprise her one bit that Caspar led her straight to a booth in the corner, one that was out of the sun. Really, she should have guessed that this would be where he would pick to sit. But she did the same thing most of the time, but she normally did it just to stay away from people. Helena slid into the booth, almost completely forgetting about the menus. She actually didn’t notice them until he said something about it.
Taking her eyes off of Caspar for a few seconds to pick up her menu. Looking over it she picked out what she wanted within a few seconds, she had been here plenty of times, it was one of the places she used to drag her brother to all the time. ”Don’t worry, I don’t like garlic on pizza very much.” she told him, putting the menu back down.
Since Helena always had a hard time not looking at Caspar, she noticed that he was staring at her. A small smirk curled onto her face, she liked him staring at her. She liked it a lot. She had to hold back a sigh when he looked away; she wanted him to look back at her again, just so that she wouldn’t be the only one staring now. Following his eyes, she saw that he was looking around the parlor. It hadn’t changed that much since she had last come here, and that had been at least a year ago, with her brother. Crap, she did not want to remember that. ”So, um…” Her attempts at starting a conversation again was not going very well, normally she was better than this, but not around him. ”GIANT RAINBOW BUTTERFLY’S!” she yelled. When she had no clue what to say, normally something random came out, so, yay for randomness? Of course, in her little mind going blank for a few seconds thing (and busy staring at Caspar) she had completely forgotten about food.

Nodding, Caspar agreed with the no garlic on pizza. Garlic had an overly strong scent that drove most vampire up the wall, and he was one of them. The smell of garlic was just too... weird and it made him sneeze, which wasn't funny. He was one of them sneezers that couldn't stop once they started. Yeah, random sneezing facts. "Good, at least we agree on something," he stuck his tongue out at her playfully before grabbing a little advertisement off the table and looked at it.
His eyes lifted up to Helena and he watched her as she tried to think of something they should talk about. She was quiet, probably trying to think of a topic. Caspar was glad to know he wasn't the only one who had problems coming up with a topic to discuss. Then she randomly yelled, causing him to jump and look at her with wide eyes. Then he suddenly cracked up laughing. He couldn't believe that she had just randomly screamed something like that. He covered his mouth with a hand to stifle his laughter while his green eyes looked around the pallor and noticed a couple other looking in their general direction. "Oh my god, I can't believe you just did that." Caspar was still trying to hold back his laughter. "Should we talk to a witch back at school and see if they'll make us some?" Seeing rainbow butterflies might be interesting. Not to mention if they were giant ones.
A few moments later, the waitress came around giving Helena a weird look, before turning to Caspar to take their order. She was clearly avoiding the 'random outburst girl', and instead was paying attention to the male she didn't know was a vampire. "I'll have a Mountain Dew, and whatever it is she wants," he gave her a sweet smile and motioned to Helena so that she could order whatever kind of pizza she wanted.

Helena stuck her tongue out at him also, she was sure that they probably could agree on something else. Garlic just happened to be one of the things they agreed on, actually, Helena didn’t really like garlic very much at all, unless it was carefully hidden within food to add flavor, then she was okay with it – sometimes. She just mainly didn’t like the smell though, and she guessed that the smell was probably even worse for Caspar since he had those vampy-powers that made his smelling better than humans plus a bunch of other stuff. She found his vampireness cool, but she just kept that thought to herself.
She had to try and keep herself from laughing when she saw the expression on his face after she shouted, and it didn’t help at all when he started laughing. At least she had made him laugh, she liked hearing him laugh, and she liked knowing that she had made him laugh. Though hearing him laugh just made her start laughing. Laughing was contagious, if someone started laughing, she almost always starting laughing as well. ”You can’t? In the years that you have known me, it still surprises you that I do that?” she asked, raising her eyebrows. Really, just about anyone who had ever met her knew her for three things: the girl who hugged everyone, the girl who shouted random things, and the girl whose siblings have all died here. ”They could do that? Dude that would be sweet.” Of course, Helena would forget that witches can do just about anything, but hey, she’s human.
When the waitress came over, Helena had to try not to glare at her when she looked at her strangely, and instead faked a very cheesy smile. She did not like people giving her dirty looks and avoiding her, it was just not nice, especially when they were costumers. ”Um, a Coke and a small cheese pizza.” she told her, barley glancing at the waitress.

Caspar smiled at her before shaking his head. "I could know you for a thousand years, and you'll still do stuff to surprise me." That was one of the things Caspar liked so much about Helena. She was always full of surprises and completely random, it was a big differnce from the rest of the school, which all seemed to go on routine. Helena knew just how to keep things fresh and unique, like her. In a way, Caspar doubted anything could take away her unique power to make everyone around her smile. Well, ok, he could think of one person who was perfectly capable of it, but he really didn't want to think about that, or at least not right now. They were here to get away from that particular someone, not talk about him.
Thinking for a moment, he shrugged. He was pretty sure they could make giant rainbow butterflies. If they couldn't, then what the hell was the point in having majikal powers? Giant rainbow butterflies seemed pretty majikal to him. "We'll definitely have to ask one when we get back to school. If they can't, then we'll throw mud at them and tell them to study." Hey, throwing mud could be fun.
Cheese pizza sounded incredibly good at the moment. Though usually vampires ate little other then blood, every now and again Caspar enjoyed the occasional human meal, and there was absolutly nothing wrong with taking a pretty girl out to pizza. What would be wrong was him taking a pretty girl out to pizza and not eating any himself. That would just seem rude. Besides, it's not like the pizza would hurt him, then again, it wouldn't really do much for him either. He waited until the waitress walked away before turning to Helena. Caspar cocked his head to the side a little as he looked at her. "When did you get detention last?" he needed to start somewhere.

A smile brightened up her face..well, more so than before. She took his words as a compliment, she liked surprising people, it was fun. It also kept things interesting, too many people were just plain boring. ”Thank you. I like being able to surprise you. It keeps me entertained.” she told him, tilting her head slightly. She liked watching his reactions, but then again, she just liked watching him, it was just (even) more interesting when he was actually showing some sort of emotion on his face, or reacting to something she had done. It could be pretty funny occasionally, if she caught him off guard at least.
Of course she didn’t really doubt that they could make giant rainbow butterflies, but she had completely forgotten about witches when she said that. She was human after all, sometimes it escaped her mind that there were other creatures in the world even though she saw them every day. ”THROW MUD AT THEM!?” she exclaimed, a mischievous smile curling onto her face. ”HELL YES! I say we do that anyway. Throwing stuff at people is fun.” she added, going back to talk at superspeed. Helena loved throwing stuff, especially at people, even though that got her put in detention a lot.
When the waitress left, Helena couldn’t help but be a little bit happier. She hadn’t liked that lady at all, but she was pretty sure that the lady hadn’t liked her at all either. ”Um..” her voice trailed off, when did she get detention last? ”Well, I technically got one yesterday, but I skipped it. the last one I got that I actually went to was last week sometime and apparently my teacher thought I was being disruptive.” she sighed, rolling her eyes, acting like she could never ever be disruptive. Of course not she was a sweet little angel, everyone knew that.

Caspar smiled at her before bringing his hand up to play around with his hair. "I'm glad to be a source of entertainment for you," he stated playfully. His green eyes fell to her for a moment before looking back around the place. He couldn't look at her for too long, or else he'd be pulled into a trance of sorts and wouldn't be able to come back out. Well, maybe he could, he just didn't want to test it. Besides, she might think it weird if he just stared at her for no apparent reason. Though... if she asked he could always say she had something on her face?
This time Caspar started to laugh, dropping his hand down onto the table, giving his head a slight shake. She had way too mich energy for her own good. Though he liked that about her, it definitely kept things interesting. "Of course we should throw mud at them either way. We should add sticks 'n stuff if they can't make giant rainbow butterflies," he gave a nod. It would actually be fun, throwing mud at people. He couldn't remember the last time he had done it. It was probably when he was a younger child and he didn't have his father and brothers shadow over him constantly and he could actually do stuff like that. So yeah, he would love to throw mud at people now. What a lecture that would be.
"You're always disruptive," Caspar told her playfully. "But the good thing is, you went. So, they can't be overly mad about it. You never go." Caspar was actually a decent student and when it came to detentions, he had only ever gotten two. And come to think of it, Helena was behind them two in one way or another. He looked at her, thinking it over. Maybe she was more trouble then it was worth? Naw, even if they constantly had to hide from his brother, he wouldn't change their relationship for anything... OK, maybe he would, but he wasn't going to speak that one out loud.

He was playing with his hair! It was so cute, she couldn’t but smile, but she rarely didn’t smile around him. Subconsciously her hand moved up and started twirling her hair in between her fingers, before she actually realized that she was playing with her hair and quickly put her hand back down. ”That’s good. Because it would be really bad if you didn’t like being my entertainment, that would just be really weird.” she told him, with a slight nod. Not like that would actually stop anything though, if he didn’t like being her source of entertainment. Helena saw him looking at her, and she could see the color, she liked it. But of course, it didn’t last long. She couldn’t help but keep repeating in her head ’just look at me, stare, come on, look at me’.
The smile on her face seemed to grow, though at this point it probably didn’t seem very possible. He laughed! She made him laugh! YES! She actually hadn’t been trying to make him laugh; she just liked throwing things, and got excited about it. Though throwing things tended to get her in trouble a lot. Her eyes lit up a his words, she liked that idea. ”Hehe. I like it! Though, I’d add sticks and sprinkles either way, but more sprinkles than sticks if they actually can.” she told him. Now she just felt like throwing something at someone. Or just throwing something period.
Her smile changed, to one that looked liked it belonged on a little kid, one who had just done something wrong and someone asked if they had done it. ”I don’t see how anyone could think that. Accidentally setting things on fire or breaking just about everything and yelling random things and hugging the teacher in the middle of a lecture is completely not disruptive.” she stated. So maybe she did know that it was disruptive, but hey, it was fun. Helena shrugged, ”Eh. I guess. Detention is just boring; I go when I feel like it. They always find something to be mad about though.” Yeah, she was always in trouble, and half the time it was because of her being stupid or because of something she did by accident. The only time she ever liked detention was when Caspar was there, and those were about the only times that she was ever quiet in detention, she was always too bust staring at him - even if normally it wa the back of his head she was staring at.
