Dear future, I bought you, I own the rights Wearing The typical sparse and dark room was lit and seemed cluttered to the lean brunette. He frowned at the scene softly. He had unpacked the big screen television his father had sent him. He had no plans on keeping it until Jax wanted to hang out. Luka figured they could use it to watch the game. With the tv set up, they needed places to sit. One lazy boy and a bed just wouldn't cut it. He had order an expensive white suede leather couch. He rarely spent this much of his father's money. It kind of felt good. He knew he was rich, but he didn't like flaunting it.
Rarer than actual furniture and a well lit room, he had bought human snacks. He would not partake in them, but they would be on standby for Jax. The lusty blond was on beer detail...that he would consume in large quantities. He normally stuck to a straight blood diet, but alcohol was one human made drink that he really enjoyed. Though with his vampiric metabolism, it took more than a truck load to make the vampire drunk. His friends better be strong with the list of drinks that Luka requested.
Moving around the room he turned off the main lights, leaving only the desk lamp on. The brightness stung his sensitive eyes. He didn't bother with candles either. The light of the lamp and the soft glow of the tv was more than enough for him to see. Hell, it could have been pitch black and he would see just fine. He lounged on the couch and flipped the tv on. For once he left his door unlocked. He knew Jax would be here shortly, giving a short amount of time to relax and unwind from a long day of classes.

Jax was walking back towards the academy with four six packs in tow. He wasn't sure exactly how much they would need, but he bought a fair amount just to be sure. After all, if they needed more, it wouldn't be hard to run the few miles into town and buy a few more cases. Besides, it wasn't like money was a problem. In fact, Jax had just finished burning through the money he had stolen from the world's largest banking firm just fifty years ago. He had a few million still from the past half-a-century. He was happy, living quite comfortably, and having a grand old time. Where else, besides high school, would Jax get to be the horny teen he was in all his glory? It wasn't like he had to study; the past few decades provided him with more than enough knowledge to ace everything. Thus, all there was left to do was drink beer and screw people. Jax was impartial to gender; he was just a sexual entity. Anyone that breathed was a possible fuck. However, that was night tonight's initial subject matter. Tonight Jax was simply hanging out with a rather good friend that he hadn't talked to in awhile. He had a feeling this could be the start to a beautiful friendship. Jax chuckled at the corniness of his thoughts and slid through the school's open gates. He just had a good deal in common with Luka and figured they could be sort of tight if they wanted. Tonight would show how things could work, but for right now, things looked good. Jax needed more friends that weren't demons and were of the male variety. Luke fit both those categories. So, to recap, the subject of the night was to drink and hang out. Maybe if a few girls came later in the night, they could both get it on, which would be ideal. And as Jax climbed through the building, heading towards Luka's dorm, he realized he needed to show Luka his tattoo also, whether the boy wanted to see it or not. When he learned of Luka's ability to change until he was twenty-five, Jax was determined to open him up to any possibility of change. In fact, Jax vowed to corrupt this guy and bring him out of the closet of gentlemanly timidness. Hopefully it wouldn't be too hard. Pausing at the door, Jax knocked a few times and let himself in. Letting his eyes adjust to the light, he put the beer down on a nearby surface and headed to the couch with two in his hands. Passing one off, Jax popped his can's tab, "Nice to relax," he began, "So how are things going dude?"[/size]

For this freedom I have given all I had For this darkness I gave my light Wearing His greenish-yellow eyes stayed affixed on the soft glow of the big screen. The pre-game was starting. Jax would be here soon...in fact he could smell the fallen angle coming up the dorm. Luka sniffed again making sure it was Jax. It was, he knew the scent well enough. He rarely ever forgot the way a person smelled. Jax had a very earthy smell, almost ashen. It was a lot like Alice's smell, though her was so much stronger. He wrote it off as for her being so old. Hell, that girl had been around since the creation of the world. He caught the scent of Jax's cologne now. That meant he was on Luka's floor. He readjusted himself on the couch, as he heard his friend at the door. "Dude, come on in", Luka called out into the dimness of the room. He noticed Jax having trouble seeing with such low light. He sat up and reached for the remote that controlled the main lights. He pressed the button making it easier for Jax to see. He cringed slightly at the brightness that he created. It would bother him for a bit, but his eyes would adjust and he would be fine. "Sorry, I forget sometimes that you can't see well in the dark," he chuckled.
Luka didn't bother to get up. He would have if a lady had been present in his dorm. But with Jax, he could be a little more relaxed. He didn't have to break out ever bit of etiquette in the book for one of his few guy friends. He did however move his legs from the couch, leaving a spot open for the stocky blond. He smiled gratefully for the offered beer and took it. He knew it would take quite a bit for him to feel anything, but this was a good start. "Thanks man." He took a deep swig of the cold amber liquid. The taste wasn't like blood. It wasn't warm or filling. It didn't satisfy the eternal lust he felt inside...but that didn't mean it wasn't good either. It was refreshing.
"Nice to relax...So how are things going dude?"
Jax moved and sat down on the couch. Luka tipped up the brim of his fedora a bit before speaking. The relationship between he and Jax was one that was relaxed. Luka didn't have to be anyone else around him. It was a good thing. They were opposites, but still had enough in common to form a decent friendship. "Yeah it is...beats class." He chuckled and tossed Jax the remote. Luka wasn't sure if the volume or settings were to Jax's liking. Luka didn't need things loud to hear perfectly. Just another vampire perk. He could hear a pin drop from several floors down. He could hear the sound of Jax's heart beating in its comfortable slow pace as well. "Things are going well", he might not need all his manners, but his speak was always formal to a degree. "Been working on a few songs...trying to avoid doing my term paper for next week." He flashed his signature goofy grin, that made his dimples appear. "What about you?" he asked his friend. "I know you haven't been doing your studies. Any interesting exploits lately?"
