Well I guess this wasn’t really the way that she
met people usually she was more of a one on one kind of person,
but that being said there was nothing wrong with meeting
people over the internet. Sometimes it was safer, like when it
came to Marshall it would have been less nerve wracking for her
to have met him online, but then again she would have ended up
wanting to meet him later on, of at least wondering what kind of
person he really was, if he was that hard all the way through or
if it was only a show.
Wandering around her dorm room she reached for a pair of
skinny jeans and pulled them on over her thin legs. Looking
down at her hip bones she frowned and opted for a longer
sleeved shirt that was a little baggier and didn’t show off how
skinny she was. It was an eating disorder but she didn’t tell
anyone and though she knew that some people noticed she just
dared them to ask her or bother her about it, they had no right
to do such a thing. She had a right to keep her personal life
private and the problems that she went through were hers and
no one else’s and there was nothing wrong with that. She
preferred to deal with things on her own and not have other
people always give her their two cents when it came to making a
decision.
Grabbing her key she pocketed it and then pulled on her slip-ons,
the purple was bright against the black and white horizontal
stripes of her shirt and the dark blue of her jeans. Taking one
last look around the dorm she flicked off the light and then
headed for the park locking the door with a click behind her.
Pushing open the front door of the dorm building she
disappeared down the trail that led her toward the park, it
wasn’t far from the dorm building and she was rather glad it was
nice out. Well it was nice out for winter, the sun was out but it
was still little chilly. Vix was now glad that she did decide to
wear a long sleeved shirt rather than a sleeveless or short
sleeved. Making her way down the thin path she finally stepped
out as it widened into a large field and half way across was the
park, the swings and the jungle gym one of her most favourite
places to go.
Almost skipping she made her way over and looked around for
Mason, biting her lip she shrugged her shoulders and decided
that he would be there soon, or maybe he was going to stand
her up. Well this wasn’t a date or anything so there was no
problem with that, she came her often by herself and just sat
there. Sometimes she saw younger kids swinging alongside her
and it was nice, it made her feel like a child again. Back when life
was easier then it was right now, and then it had become. She
would give anything to remain at that age when her family had
been perfect and her life had been nothing short of amazing.
Glancing around over her shoulders she wrapped her fingers
around the links of the chain on the swing and started to swing
her legs. Closing her eyes she just felt the feeling, almost like
flying, it was amazing
