Shops, shops and more shops. In case I didn't mention-- shops. The colors were everywhere, the variety exhausting to look at for the usual guy. The usual guy. That barely explained Reio as he strolled down the stores, eying each with glee. He wasn't the one to drool over everything he wanted, but there was the exception. Jewelry. He never wore it, but he couldn't resist walking into the first jewelry store he spotted, it's name a mixture of swirls.
Inside, he walked up to the first glass case, a diamond necklace was in it, it's chain was made of gold and the price tag caused Reio's knees to wobble. Twelve thousand dollars?! Dang! he thought, walking up to the next box. His eyes landed on the price tag instantly so he wouldn't throw himself into a fantasizing dreamworld. This was a little less extravagant... Five thousand, five hundred dollars... gee... that's several years savings right there. he sighed and continued to peer at the endless options.
Each piece was a beauty on it's own, each having it's own glow and shine, it's own hue and color... perfection in every case. That was perhaps the only thing Reio lacked in his life... perfection. It wasn't wrong to want to be perfect, was it? To have everything and not need more... to be able to mold your life the way you wanted it to be with no rules because you already obeyed them all with willing submission. Perfection had it's own cost...

Mason needed a few things, mainly clothes, for the remainder of winter. He needed another pair of jeans, a few pairs of boxers, and a nice jacket. Not to mention he wanted another pillow and some blankets. The usual casual shopping for a guy his age who attended a boarding school. Mason didn't mind shopping, however, he drew the line at clothes, where most guys would. And, on top of that, he didn't get the most expensive, most fashionable clothes either. After all, he didn't exactly want to get beat up, now did he? He was more of a macho-bisexual. He liked sports and just a bit of shopping. After all, it was the guys he was into, not the styles.
So, walking around the mall, self-choosingly alone, he rolled his eyes at a few stores and the girls and few guys fawning over the merchandise. He nearly gagged and laughed at the same time. As he passed one store though, he thought it would be funny to get some male lingerie, although he didn't exactly want to go into that store. He laughed and kept walking towards his destination. he would first hit the clothing outlet, and then the store for bedding and room accessories. This would be simple and painless, Mason thought as he walked past a toy store and perfume outlet.
However, as he passed one store in particular, a jewelry store, mason noticed a fellow sophomore inside, gawking at the goods. Ordinarily he would be fine, but Reio Apoy, a fellow male, did not need to be enjoying this, no matter what his sexual preference. He wasn't going to be wearing these diamonds, at least hopefully not. Turning on a dime, Mason waltzed into the store, smiling and nodding at the head saleswoman, and tapped Reio on the back. "Dude, c'mon," he started, "Let's get you into a better store. This isn't improving your image much." mason laughed, tugging at his friend's arm.
