Julia was sitting in the teachers lounge all alone. Being used to a loud and hectic life the quietness in the room gave her a strange feeling...almost alien. She shuttered the feeling existing inside of her. She nervously looked around, she was never one to be nervous. She looked at her fingernails, a move any typical or normal for that matter Slayton would make. She admired them for a bit and then let her eyes wonder the room. She sat up straight and let her mind wonder to the thought of her heredity. That in particular was not something she admired at all! She hated to ponder it but yet somehow her mind kept on returning to the subject.
There was one date in particular that stood out among the rest, her 16th birthday. She absolutely detested that day. About everyone could agree that someone's sweet 16 was supposed to be one of the best days of their life. At the time her parents didn't have that much money so they decided to combine the two sisters' party together, after all they were only a few weeks apart. That was possibly the biggest mistake they could ever make. Julia invited the few friends she had, considering the fact that her "baby" sister couldn't give a damn about Julia's social life instead she liked to laugh along with her sweet friends. By the end of the day Julia was distraught and still is, though she decided that she was going to have a little pride and be strong, don't let your emotions bring you down.
Julia snapped out of her little flashback when the door opened. She jumped a little and her eyes flashed over to the door, and she politely stood up. She flashed a smile at the person. Politely she spoke. "Hello. I wasn't really expecting anyone." She waited for the woman to reply. "Actually I'm quite thrilled to have another person in here." She said truthfully. Now the damned silence could be broken

She had just finished another class, and already feeling exhausted and drained. It was the teachers lounge for the next hour. On her way there, she stopped by the bathroom, washed her face and dampened her hair, sliding her fingers through them. The refreshing feeling caused her wings to spread out happily, sparkling dust slipping off them and vanishing the moment they touched the ground. She gazed at her reflection for a few moments, noting the blackening under her eyes. "I desperately need some sleep..." she sighed sadly, her voice echoing in the empty bathroom. After a light pause she responded to herself, "Or some caffeine." she chuckled softly then spun round with new found energy and headed to the lounge.
Upon entering the lounge, she spotted the other teacher who had already risen to greet her. Feeling a sense of warmth she replied pleasantly to the elves last comment, "Hello... glad I could be of assistance then." she put out a small hand for Julia to shake, "My name is Shania Apoy. I'm the new drama teacher." her voice was full of life and kindness of a kind no one could deny. Sure she was a fairy and it was expected that she'd have such an aura, but fairies can be really rude if they wanted to. Her wings fluttered from behind, sending a cascade of glitter all over Shania's shoulders.
She herself was pretty happy to have met someone here to fill in the usual silence. The last thing she was looking for was a lonely time of painful peace. Of course, she loved the quiet, but sometimes it was nice to just have someone to talk to, no matter who or what they were. Shania was quick to notice the woman's pointed ears, the very reason for her comfort in being in her presence. She felt a strange connection with elves, one that she believed had to do with the great and unknown origin of their species.

Julia smiled at the woman. She watched as the dust sprinkled over Shania's shoulders. She felt the room fill up with a joy. Julia smiled when a bit of dust hit her and she felt her eyes fill with happiness, something that her eyes were stripped of for a long time. She gripped Shania's hand firmly and looked her in the eyes, that was the polite thing to do. "Pleasure, I'm Julia Slayton." She said clearly with fluency and grace. When the woman mentioned she was the new Drama professor he smiled even more, drama was a subject that excited her.
"I love the art of drama." She said calmly and respectably, she didn't want to come off childish. Drama always had a huge pull on her ever since high school. "Oh by the way I'm the councilor and psychology professor." Julia was surprised when she caught herself almost forgetting to mention her occupation, though her face didn't show it.
Julia admired the woman's wings quietly of course. She was happy to be in the company of a fairy. She loved how they had a keen sense of humor. Although it was a fact that they were pranksters this woman was nice enough. Julia again quietly admired the woman's neat sense of style, she presented herself nicely. In Julia's book 1st impressions matter. As she was doing this she made sure she didn't look tacky, her eyes wandered respectably and gracefully. She looked at her own outfit it wasn't quite as colorful but she liked it. "I like your shirt." Admiration is very polite and she really did like Shania's shirt. [/blockquote]

Shania could feel the elves eyes inspecting her, even though she did it politely, it threw her into the pits of anxiety, hoping to look presentable. She hadn't intended on meeting an elf. Maybe a human or vampire, but she had heard elves were in the minority with the werewolves. As Julia spoke, Shania watched her face move, full of adoration which nearly gleamed out of her stray eyes as they took in the creatures beauty. "Well just as much as you appreciate drama, I find psychology equally fascinating, only I've never really been that great at it." she smiled widely, her perfectly whitened teeth glittering back, a heavy amount of dust suddenly blowing around her in a swirling motion. This show lasted seconds before the glittering substance vanished absolutely, it's power having taken place.
Shania was already drawn to this elf, feeling overwhelmed with happiness on having made her acquaintance. Now all she had to do was behave herself in a proper manner whilst she befriended her. Who knew what high expectations she might have- not to mention expectations from a fairy! Last time Shania had tried to befriend and elf, she was thrown into the depths of depression for several days which tainted her record of under twenty-four hours of anger at any living thing.
She quickly drove her way out of her stable thoughts, feeling the side-effects of exhaustion beginning to kick in as her head began to buzz unhappily. Even though the dust she emitted in large numbers was overly positive, she herself wasn't feeling her best, yet even still, she kept herself straight, looking absolutely fine in every aspect.

Julia watched the dust sprinkle around the area, it was a very pretty sight. She listened attentively to Shania, smiling when she mentioned that she like psychology but wasn't good at it. "As a little girl I always enjoyed giving advice." She said that with pride, being careful not to come of arrogant or conceited. This fairy was different from a few other ones she met. Shania seemed polite, and very easy to be around. Julia felt her cheeks light up a bit when she noticed how much taller she was. She knew she was tall but not that tall. "hmmm I might have to stop wearing high heels." She thought to herself.
"What kind of character do you like to play?" She asked keeping on a topic in which they had a common appreciation for. "I'm good playing cold characters, but I also enjoy playing the sweet and sensitive characters as well. I guess I like a variety." She felt that playing a variety of personalities and styles was a good way to enrich one's acting ability altogether. She pondered a bit. "Musicals are fun too." She added.
Julia felt the cold wind of the opened window at her back and she let out a brief shiver. "Excuse me." She shut the window. "It's freezing." After that she shut her mouth, for Julia Slayton she was talking a lot. Typically she would let the other being do most of the talking and she felt as if she was leaning towards the obnoxious side, which rarely shows through but when it does boy can she be annoying.

Shania was more than thrilled at this elves openness. So far, the only people she'd met had greeted her in halfhearted waves, and barely a nod of acknowledgment. Shania began to reply to Julia's question on which character she enjoyed to play as, but then ceased when the elf shut the window. She giggled softly before continuing, "It's fine, the cold was getting to me too." Then taking a deep breath she continued, making her way slowly to the lounge area, falling into a couch with exhaustion.
"To be perfectly honest, I love to play the maiden in distress, no matter the plot or story. It's such a romantically enhanced role, full of emotional battles. Back as a child, being the youngest in my family, I would be the princess who would be protected from the evil Mydria Fairies, who were always my brothers." she laughed at this memory, "Yes... but really, I prefer being the good character. Or perhaps the neutral one, trying to make the peace in between everything. Being bad is beyond me. I've tried it before but I failed miserably." she smiled again, her eyes wandering into another childhood memory, "I was always told my face was too good to be evil by my brothers. Not to mention that one time I took the role of a Mydria Fairy and ended up freeing all the slaves..." She paused then looked up at Julia, "Sorry for my chattering, I get careless sometimes about others..." she bit her lip, her body still and unmoving as it built up energy for the rest of the day.
