The music wildly danced around the room, bouncing from wall to wall making sure it was being heard by the inhabitants of the room. The violent drum beating became the beat of her heart, the bass the blood flowing through her veins and the insane guitars took control of her muscles which was a good explanation for all the sporadic movements. The walking canvas known as Arizona Ashe had become a walking piece of music. Thank God for the sound proof walls otherwise no one in the hallway would have been able to get any sleep. All the music she had been playing contained no vocals, but the head banging and mosh pit producing sounds were worth it.
Arizona was working on something she should've started weeks ago, her room. Every year she painted a different wall which matched with her stay four walls for four years. She didn't intended in the painting to take a year but with all the masking and drying and painting and drawing plus she had homework and squad duties so it always ended up taking a year or so. For her junior year she was working on the side wall, the one that should be her closet and the one that led to her execution squad room. At the moment she had it painted a royal blue and there's was a lot of masking tape around, she had already sketched the giant Koi fish and had been painting it the entire day before only leaving her room once in awhile to get some fresh air and something to drink.
The oranges and deep pinks matched with the blue, her vision was to have a Koi fish coming out of the water, the splashed would stretch and take the shape of a water dragon that would start to take flight. The wind created by the dragon would give the effect of not only wind but of clouds taking shape of a pure white snake dancing around. Basically the mural would start with a fish and end with a bunch of cool animals and objects that Arizona found a lot of people tattooed on their bodies. Her brown eyes looked around the room, the wall that was behind her bed was basically orange, red and white with a bunch of skyscrapers and a woman with caramel skin and an afro with turn tables and a very 60's style vibe around it. The wall where the door was located had a very grungy look, resembling something you will find in an abandoned house that held raves, it was black and most of the colors were neon, some even glowed in the dark.
All this time she was in her neon green with white and black cheetah spots bikini, her black hair tied up in a messy bun. Most of her tattoos showing. Arizona stood up and admired her work in progress, she had so many sketches of the wall and now that it was coming together a satisfied smile played on her non painted lips. Yes quite a shock she was wearing no make up, no heavy eyeliner or mascara and no lipstick her eyes were slightly pink where they supposed to be white, but that was because she spend twenty four hours without any sleep. However given the fact that it was Ari there were o chances she was going to sleep now.
She had been using aerosol paint, markers, oil paint, charcoal, normal interiors paint and many more painting tools for her mural but the spray paint and sharpies were so strong they were getting her light headed so Arizona decided it would be better to go somewhere else and take a short break from her wall. Looking around the room she grabbed a leather cropped jacket, black ripped pants and stiletto heels that were neon green. She loosened up her hair and tied a black and green bandanna around her forehead. She added tons of black eyeshadow and eyeliner and grabbed her over sized sunglasses so no one could see her tired eyes. Grabbing a dark pink lipstick she painted her pale looking lips she looked at herself once more in the mirror and then left her room.
Laptop in one hand and sketchpad in the other, Arizona walked around the Academy. She figured her eyes would be in excruciating pain if she decided to go outside since it happened to be around noon, so on that note Ari decided on staying inside. Her heels clicked as she walked around looking for somewhere to go, for some reason she was not able to draw a lot of her freestyle things in the art room which is why she didn't spend much time there and seeing as she didn't want to go to any classroom her best option was the student lounge.
Going down a few steps and turning here and there Arizona finally made her way to the lounge, sitting in the table instead of a chair she opened her laptop and started to look through her emails. As she had expected her friends from London had send her a few email requesting for a few sketches for new tattoos. She couldn't help but to chuckle at the sight of the word "mate" she didn't hear that very often when she was around here, and she never said mate she always said man or dude.
Opening her sketchpad, Ari began to work on one of the first tattoos, a Koi fish.

Feelings you never knew Pulling you under now Your fighting the undertow Before it sucks you down Wearing Luka walked out of his classroom. The sun was shining directly over the tall buildingds of the campus. He really wasn't fond of the sunlight. It was common knowledge on the campus that he was a vampire, but he certainly didn't like flaunting it around. He couldn't go back to the dorm until the clouds moved over head. He let out a sigh, as his footsteps moved along the tiled floor. He knew he could run to the dorm quickly. He would seem like a blur of lights, zipping past the other students. It was just a small perk of having enhanced speed. But instead he stayed close to the buildings.
He had actually taken the time to care about his appearance today. His mass of dark hair was combed out, but remained hidden under a dark brown fedora. He wore a nicer button down shirt with loose black tie. He tied it all together with a comfortable pair of worn jeans and sunglasses...not as if he would be standing out in the sunlight anytime today though.
He slung his leather messenger bag over his shoulder and headed towards the student lounge. He occasionally hung out there to play music. It stayed quiet, just the way he liked it. Wishing he had brought his guitar with him he walked through the door.
The room was empty save for a single girl. Her dark hair and flare for the color green was what caught his attention first. She seemed busy working on a drawing. He glanced down at the paper, before moving past her. He took a chair across from the table she was sitting on. He didn't know her name, but had seen her face. She smelled human. He could hear her blood pump softly through her veins. He was glad he had went out to the clubs last night and fed well, otherwise this might have been difficult for the tall boy.
He had yet to her. He looked over as he grabbed his messenger bag. He unlatched the straps and pulled out his history book. He figured he could get a head start on his homework, while he was stuck inside. "Hi," his deep voice rumbled softly. It was strange such a low octave came from him. Bailey would sometimes comment on it, but never really minded when Luka sang to her.

Arizona's hand moved frantically around the paper, as she created waves, curves and scales. She had 5 drawing to sketch. Most of the were pretty simple a Koi Fish, Chinese letters, a pin up girl dressed as a grim reaper, a lucky cat and then there was the hard one which was a portrait of a little girl. For now she concentrated in the Koi fish given the fact that she had the outline of it still in her mind from the time she spend drawing it for her room. Her brown eyes did not leave the page as she continued to draw the outline.
Now that she had the outline done, she was thinking of having it more personalized, it was for her friend so she really wanted it to be perfect, they had trusted her skills as an artist enough to let her draw the tattoo even though some of them weren't even getting the piece done by her. She wanted to add so much stuff, but then she also didn't want to keep draw it with all the details because she didn't want the tattoo artist to take hours to draw it. This became somewhat conflicting with her ideas so she was often drawing and erasing.
Gladly her friends already knew how she worked and they not only send her what the wanted done but if they wanted colors or just black and white and where in their body did they wanted the tattoo. Clicking noises were made as she looked up the pictures of the parts they wanted to tattoo to be on . The one of the koi fish would be done in her friend's leg right above the ankle. Ari had to be honest, it was complicated to just picture the leg in real size and try to imagine the space, but she did her best and continued to draw, even if she got the size somewhat wrong the other artist could just resize.
The drawing and sketches with pictures all around her made her feel like she was back at the tattoo parlor back in London. Even if it wasn't hers and she didn't work there permanently because of the whole "permit" and "under 18" thing it was cool to her things done every once in awhile, and nobody said it was illegal for a 17 year old to be the little clerk person in the shop. As she continued to draw she heard someone come in, unless they spoke to her she wasn't going to bother looking up.
Then she listened as a male voice, she assumed by the deepness of it greet her. "Hey man, what's up?" She said in her chilled back, American accent. Even if she didn't know the person her tone would always be as if she had known the person for years, always chilled and friendly. She lifted up her head to find the guy sitting down with a history book, "homework?" She asked, nodding to wards the book. Her deep red lips formed a small smile as her eyes looked from behind the over sized sunglasses.

I lust for after no disaster can touch, touch us anymore And more than ever, I hope to never fall where enough is not the same it was beforeWearing "Hey man, what's up?"
A small smile trailed his lips, as she returned his greeting. She seemed nice enough. Her tone conveyed a friendly demeanor. Though in this school, appearances could be more than a little misleading. He chuckled softly before speaking. He was very honest, even if it put himself in a poor situation. "Avoiding the day light for a while. you?"
He didn't mind the sun. In fact, as a child he loved it. He would play outside for house with butlers and nannies to care for him. His father wouldn't dare venture out. But the old leech Alister would not even give a passing glance to a small Luka, unless he was teaching him to be a proper vampire. As he grew older however, he pulled away from going out in the daylight. It wasn't safe and he knew it. Only here on campus he could freely. But then again it sometimes drew unwanted attention. Seeing a guy shining like sparkles and diamonds wasn't something folks didn't notice.
"homework?"
He looked down at the text. He was really in no mood to get a head start on homework that would only take him an hour to do. "Yeah, but I doubt I will read it now. History is not my subject of choice", he offered a smile and tossed the book down in his open messenger bag. "I'm Luka, Luka Merik." He thought it best to introduce himself. Few habits that his father taught him had really stuck. But manners certainly had. He was raised to be a gentleman of wealth. In his father's words, impressions meant everything...especially when you wish to stab someone in the back.

Arizona quickly sketched an outline before gathering all the papers on the table and putting them on a not so neat pile, closing the laptop she place the papers on top of it and placed her pencil down. Ari wasn't one of the most elegant girls around, and she definitely wasn't one for manners but if there was one thing that pissed her off was when people weren't paying fully attention when engaged in a conversation with someone, so out of courtesy she stopped her drawings. Or at least was attempting to stop drawing, since it was even hard for her not to carry a pencil and a paper when she went to bed. A good thing about her sketches though, were that the people that they belonged to lived 'across the pond' and most likely had no sense of timing other than 'is later here in London'.
Avoiding the day light for a while. you?" Ari smiled, well asking him if he was a vampire was off the list now. "ah just allowing all the strong smells of the spray paint and sharpies to leave my system and checking what tattoo designs I have to sketch, same old same old " She said with a slight shrugs as she removed the cropped leather jacket. Now that her the only thing covering her chest was the green bikini top one could see all the tattoos starting from her ink covered hands and moving its way up to her arms and all around her back and torso, there was barely any space left that revealed what color skin her body was.
Resting her arms on her legs she directed her attention to the vampire as he began to speak once more. He told Arizona that he was doing history homework and that it wasn't his best subject, Ari nodded "I hear you man, I'm not so good with dates and facts and stuff like that" Arizona commented, although when it came to maps and more creative projects she was all in for any subject but otherwise she just stuck to art and English.
The guy introduced himself as Luka Merik, and Ari was used to introducing herself just as Ari but given that he had been more polite she decided to change her introduction as well. "I'm Arizona Ashe but feel free to call me Ari" She told him "So vampyboy what do you do when you're trying to avoid the daylight?" Arizona asked trying to get the conversation moving.

He nodded at her comment. She was an artist like him. His medium was not paints, pens or ink however. But the same mindset within artist existed. His greenish-yellow eyes couldn't help but look as she removed her jacket. The small top...or if that's what you could call it, just cover the necessary skin. He inhaled subtly. He might have been a vampire, but he still was a teenage boy. It was a sight any boy wouldn't turn down. He looked at her tattoos with interest. He'd never thought of getting a tattoo. He only had a few years before his body would not longer take to changes. At 25 he would remain the same for eternity. He thought hers wee quite appealing. He moved his eyes away and readjusted in his chair. He drew one of his legs up and leaned back.
I'm Arizona Ashe but feel free to call me Ari...So vampyboy what do you do when you're trying to avoid the daylight?"
He chuckled at her vampboy comment. Her name was Ari. It was pleasant sounding. He smiled at her. "Vampboy is it now?" He grinned. It was a new nickname he hadn't heard. "I play music. I'd really kill for my guitar right now." He leaned his head back. He didn't want to have to dart across campus, in all his shining glory just to get his guitar. "You're an artist?" He knew he asked the obvious, and he knew it. But that stroked up his next question. "You do any of them yourself?" He gestured to her tattooed form.

Ari ran her left hand up her arm, it was a stupid thing really but somehow in the back of her brain she believed that she could touch her tattoos. Yes she was physically touching them because she was touching the skin that was marked with them, but Arizona could almost feel each tattoo as if it was springing to life when her hand meet the ink. She was very in touch with the art that covered her body, with just running her fingers she could tell that an inch below her elbow her index finger would be meeting the letter Tor the letter R depending on which way you were looking at it for it said "Saint" and at the same time it said sinner. If she moved a few inches farther away she would be tracing her more patriotic tattoos, and if she moved to her inner arm she could tell whether she was touching the hearts, the butterfly or the lips.
Vampboy is it now?" Ari chuckled a bit, her chuckle and laugh were the same as her personality they both reflected this warmth and coolness and a relaxed aspect of her. "for now it is, chances are I might forget about it and give you some other weird nickname" She said with a smile and a shrug. "Trust me though, if we hang out long enough you WILL start missing vampyboy" Arizona guaranteed Luka, and she had been known for giving people some weird nicknames, some that made some sense and some that were so far off they were almost like an inside joke.
Arizona nodded when he said he wanted his guitar "so a musician...nice" She said aloud mostly to herself than anything. "You're an artist?" The girl nodded as she ruffled her hair a bit "Yeah, I sometimes play the electric guitar or do some singing but let's just say I'm better off as an artist" She joked letting out a short laugh, she wasn't that bad but Arizona didn't spend much time on her guitar or practicing her singing/screaming. Mainly it was because every time she was going to practice she was struck with inspiration for a drawing and then that would keep running until she was too tired to do anything else. Ari brought her focus back to the vampire as he spoke again. "I designed all of them but I only did the patriotic ones" Ari stated showing the butterfly with the wings painted with the colors of the British flag located on the inside of her hand, then she showed her knuckles the first ones read "BRIT BABY" and the lower ones read "MOSH BABE", then she showed the inside of her arm with the pin up punk girl that had the colors of the British flag. Lastly she unzipped her pants and showed the map of London and the words "MADE IN LONDON" tattooed around it, all located it on her inner thigh, "and yeah that's about it, the others one I got by people with licenses" She said zipping her pants back up.
