Marci eagerly unpacked the last of all her boxes. She had been sitting on it for a while, contemplating whether she should really go through with her mad scheme. At first, Marci considered not doing it… but the temptation was too hard to resist. Grabbing the bulky black vest out of the box she headed out of her door. If anyone noticed, they didn’t ask what she was carrying. Marci had come to notice that was the general rule at Forevermore, don’t ask, don’t tell. Unless you knew the person, it was very possible they would bite your head off (in some cases, literally) for asking. It was simply safer to keep your mouth shut.
Marci turned the corner, a large grin playing on her face. Now that she had made her decision she was infinitely happy with it. She hadn’t gotten a real adrenaline rush for a while and she felt lacking. Jumpy, irritated, her mind just didn’t like to function without a regular shot of adrenaline. The school itself and the dangers it posed were good enough for a while but that wore off quickly. Marcela was as indifferent to that as she was to a million other things that should have scared her. The morbid part of her was fascinated with the games. She wondered if the Execution Squad could make her feel pain, and she half wondered what it was like to watch someone else in pain. Marci shook her head. No, no she would not think of such things today. Not when she was going to be doing the thing that had been tempting her since the first day of school.
A slow sly smile spread over Marci’s face when she reached the tower. Looking up at the stairs Marci could not help but to think it was lovely. Ah yes, she would be jumping from the highest, most beautiful spot in the entire school. What a joy, what a rush, Marci couldn’t wait. With that thought in mind, Marci practically ran up the stairs. Bursting onto the balcony Marci greedily gulped in the thin air. She quickly got a hold of her self and strapped on the parachute. Marci walked with calm strides to the edge, looking over the land below. Her eyes and face betrayed her constant numbness. There was no one up here after all, why should she hide? Why should she have to put on a mask and pretend she was alright? Not now, not at the pinnacle at one of her biggest thrills yet.

Arizona paced around her room, she was bored out of her mind. Her mind traveled around her messy hair as she thought of things to do, she felt so mellow it sickened her. How could she be expected to paint or draw anything when she did not have that empty feeling in her stomach and that rush flowing as her heart pumped faster than the speed of light. Times like this made her wish she had some teleportation device that would send her to a roller coaster. Perhaps that was she should do, thinking it was a good idea Arizona sat down on a chair and attempted to pretended she was in a roller coaster, she failed miserably.
Grabbing some old washed up jeans that had a lot of pin up girls drawn on them, Ari put them on and strapped her navy blue platform shoes that she still had not decorated yet and left her room. Her black her swayed as her heels clicked around the hallways, her sunglasses hiding her eyes, even if it was pitch black outside Arizona could be seen with deep red lipstick and over sized sunglasses with cheetah print frames. today she felt too lazy to actually grab a shirt so when she left her room she was wearing a bikini top that was blue on the right and red on the left , her tattooed covered stomach showing freely.
Now that she was out of her room the question was where to go.Her mind was debating whether to go to the pool or go to the astronomy tower. After a few seconds of just standing there her feet began moving again, making her way to the Astronomy tower as she figured the view and the height might at least inspire her to draw something. As she walked up the steep staircase she imagined herself running down with her stripper shoes, it might give her a small dose of rush that would get her through an hour or so. Once reaching the top her mind left the thought and concentrated on the image in front of her.
A girl stood near the edge of the tower with a parachute. "Parachuting huh? sweet" She exclaimed walking closer to the girl. At least one of them was going to get some adrenaline flowing through their veins "if you don't mind me asking where did you get the parachute?" she asked thinking of getting one herself, Arizona could not risk being this bored again in her life so she figured a parachute would be like her emergency kit against boredom.

Marci stood right at the edge of the balcony, the wind lashing at her face. She closed her eyes for a moment, enjoying the prospect of base jumping the tower. Of all the dangerous things she partook in, Marci probably enjoyed base jumping the most. Well, maybe, skydiving came in as a close second. She was about to step up onto the edge when she head someone opening the door.
She turned to see an extremely beautiful girl, tattoos covering almost every inch of her exposed skin. Marci quietly marveled at the sheer amount of them. She had read that tattoos were rather painful to get, that this girl would put herself through that was fascinating. Marci grinned at her statement.
“Yeah, I love it. I used to base jump skyscrapers in Chicago too.” Marci told her. Try as she might the numbness wouldn’t leave her eyes. She desperately tried to push it under, to hide her ever present sense of apathy. It wasn’t working though, so Marci had to hope this girl wasn’t very observational.
“Online.” Marci stated simply, a smirk coming over her face. “You’d be surprised what people will sell you online. It’s the new black market.” Marcela was a big fan of online shopping. You could get anything and everything you ever wanted or needed there. And when you’re an adrenaline junkie it’s important to have the right supplies. Like bungee cord, and a parachute.

Yeah, I love it. I used to base jump skyscrapers in Chicago too Arizona smiled "that's so gnarly, yeah I'm from London, most of the neighborhood is small little house" she said with a disappointed sigh. Things that involved height were not her specialty since she couldn't do them as often compared to street racing and the skateboard tricks she had tried but she had bungee jumped a few times and tried parachuting. The school really needed more places for people to try some other sports.
Ari nodded when the girl said she had gotten it from the internet and laughed when she said it was the new black market. As someone who hated going to the mall to get art supplies and clothes, on line shopping seemed to be the best option "oh yeah on line stores, the little sidekick of all adrenaline junkies" she said with a small nod and a chuckle. Her mind started to create a list of thing she should buy on line, but she quickly stopped when she realized there was something she needed. a credit card
Her heels clicked as she started to walk even closer to the girl, her hands pressing against the edge as she looked down. Her lips turned into an even more pleased smirk."I need to get myself one of those, and perhaps a new bungee chord since I have no idea where mines is" She said more to herself than to the girl but it was still loud enough for her to hear.Arizona could only imagine what she could buy new skateboards, new snowboards, perhaps she could try hang gliding in the school if she bought something on line. Her mind had gone off into all the extreme sports she would be able to try and had almost forgotten about the girl.
"I'm sorry I didn't catch your name" Arizona said finally snapping from her lovely adrenaline filled dream. Her eyes looked down and then looked at the girl, she really wanted a parachute at the moment. Shifting her wait from one side of her hip to the other, Ari waited for the girl's response.

“London?” Marci reiterated, her eyebrows raised. That was a hell of a lot cooler than Chicago. Of course the no tall buildings part was a definite drawback. “Well, Big Ben’s pretty tall.” She mentioned and then frowned biting her lip. “Although, jumping that is most likely illegal.” She sighed sadly. Why were the things that were the most fun always illegal? Governments in general seemed to have it in for adrenaline junkies.
“Who needs Robin when you’ve got the internet?” Marci asked rhetorically, giving a small chuckle of embarrassment at her words. She sounded like such a geek with her batman and robin talk. Marci nodded seriously at the girl’s mention of needing a parachute. Of coarse she did. To Marci, needing a parachute or bungee cord was as simple and explainable as needing new jeans.
Marci gazed out onto the grounds her mind churning with ideas. The school offered quite a few thrills and Marcela was planning on exploiting every one of them. Starting with the tower, base jumping now, then bungee jumping later. It was a perfect location, high enough to not come in too fast, low enough to not have to get a really big parachute or bungee cord. Marcela turned her head back to the girl, shaking off the happy stuper of adrenaline activity planning.
“Marcela, people call me Marci.” Marci smiled at the fellow adrenaline junkie. “And yours?”

"yeah don't let the bad American accent fool you" She joked, it was not intended or anything Ari just happened to have a American accent and was often mistaken as a tourist when she was back home. Perhaps it was the American kids in the school that had gotten her with the accent, or all the American TV she watched. She was not so sure why she had dropped her British accent, and slang and didn't even remember how her voice sounded when she had the accent.
The girl mentioned jumping off the Big Ben and then said it would be illegal, Ari laughed at that and rolled her eyes even though the sunglasses didn't let the girl see that "Everything fun is illegal nowadays" She said "the important things is not to get caught and I think I would stand out if I were to climb the Big Ben" She said given the fact that she had a body suit of tattoos some were even in her face and that she wore stripper shoes ninety percent of the time.
“Who needs Robin when you’ve got the internet?”Arizona chuckled at the joke "I think you could probably buy Robin through the internet...if not him at least his outfit"She said considering the fact of a sidekick website that allowed you to buy people, supervillans would get a kick out of that.
The girl introduced herself as Marcela and Arizona nodded "Arizona, Ari for short" and again another reason why her being British was so odd, she would've understood if her name was London but she was named after an American state how could they not expect her to get an American accent.

Marci laughed a little bit about the girl’s comment about her accent. Although now that she mentioned it Marci did notice that she didn’t have a British accent but an American one. Marci grinned at her in a friendly way after she stopped chuckling.
“Hmm, yeah you do sound American. So, how long have ya been this side of the Atlantic?” Marci asked her. It was possible she had lived here for a long time and simply picked up the accent. Or maybe, she had just acquired it from being around so many Americans.
Marci pursed her lips disdainfully as she thought about the laws that prevented so many fun activities. Personally, Marci really didn’t see how it was any of the governments business if she wanted to endanger her life. At the mention of the heavily tattooed girl climbing Big Ben, Marci had to chuckle a bit too. However, as her she always did when thinking her way around rules, her face grew sort of blank, though her eyes reflected contemplation.
“Well,” She drawled slowly, looking up at her fellow adrenaline junkie. “you could always pretend to be maintenance to get up to the top.” She grinned, knowing that it would be a long shot. Probably too much of a risk to go through with it but, hey, it was an idea. A very fun one.
“Oh god, you know what would be funny? Bungee jumping into a crowd with a Robin costume on and screaming about justice or something.” Marci grinned at the thought. People would be on the hunt for days for the “psycho” who thinks he’s Robin. And all the while she’d get to glory in the fact that she scared the living daylights out of those people. Bungee jumping and pranking at the same time equals tons o’ fun.
Marci cocked her head and looked questioningly at Ari. “You mean… you’re a English person, with a name that is an American state, and you have an American accent?” Marci grinned at the oddness of it all and shook her head, bemused.

Marci asked her how long had he been here and Arizona just shrugged "I don't know, since the first day of school I guess, I might've gotten here the day before though" She said "people assume that when I go home on the holidays that I might pick up the accent again but there's no way dude" Arizona told her with a small chuckle. Ari couldn't help but to laugh again, all the people back home that reminded her how much Americans love the British accent, how they all wanted to imitated and what not and here she was a born and raised Brit with a full blown American accent and American name...oddity was fun.
you could always pretend to be maintenance to get up to the top.” Most people would have taken it as a joke, but Arizona was all for doing stupid things for stupid reason and she was actually thinking about doing it. "I can always do a British accent and just pretend to be maintenance, or do it around the middle of the night when there's less people I think I wouldn't be that noticed" She said pondering the possibilities and not thinking much about the consequences. Worrying was for adults and boring people, and the less she thought about the trouble she would get in the more appealing it sounded, for she forgot about the fact that there were consequences.
The girl started to create the image of Rubin bungee jumping and Arizona couldn't help but picture it in her head, and it obviously came out as a drawing "I'm definitely making that into a comic" she said still chuckling "oh Imagine if he was sort of and then started to cuss out batman and all the superheroes for being douche bags and taking all the spotlight or if he started to say how much he loves batman " Ari said still laughing, now she had two comics in mind for when she got bored.
"I know, fun ain't it?" She said "maybe that's the reason i have an American accent, but i can't help but to think that the only two reason my parents named me Arizona was because either they were high or they conceived me in Arizona which is gross"Ari told Marci wrinkling her nose a little bit, at least she hadn't been stuck with one of the classical English names like Elizabeth, no disrespect to the Queen off course but Ari couldn't see herself with the name of Elizabeth or Catherine or something like that.
